Accommodating six guests in three en-suite bedrooms, Strawberry Lodge is the perfect base to enjoy all that Rutland, Leicestershire and the surrounding area has to offer. Situated in the middle of a working farm of 200 acres, with mixed produce of sheep, arable, geese and turkeys for Christmas, you are well away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy this wonderful county with its many attractions.
Central to four market towns – Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, Uppingham and Oakham (all of which are within 10 miles). Also just 10 miles away is the city centre of Leicester with the National Space Centre. Lovely lodge, in an outstanding location. Spotlessly clean & very well equipped. Quiet but with plenty to see in terms of wild life & countryside - all from the terrace! Visited Windmill Park Farm & Space Centre during our short stay. (Suggestion: bath could do with grab handles & a mat to go in it).
Hope to revisit!

Loverly retreat in the countryside
This was our first trip to Strawberry Lodge. It was everything we hoped, and more. Clean, comfortable and totally private. We enjoyed it so much we booked to go back within 2 days of getting home.
