The Dray House is a contemporary apartment designed for self catering, which adjoins the owners house built in c1870, located in the pretty village of Pagham & Nyetimber, West Sussex. Adapted from part of the original house, a larger traditional house built c1870, which used to house the brewery supplying beer for the local public house which is sited opposite the property - The Lamb Inn. The self contained, open plan, ground floor accommodation is all on one level and comprises of a main vaulted lounge area with a small dining table and two chairs, off this there is a separate large walk-in shower room and a compact but well equipped kitchen with Nespresso coffee machine also adjoining the lounge is the bedroom well furnished with a king sized bed. Outside there is designated parking area and a secluded shared garden with a seating area which guests may use. The apartment is fitted to a high standard with a 50' flat screen SMART 3D TV with FreeView, high speed ethernet access and WIFI, along with a superb Bang & Olufsen sound system with CD/Radio and loudspeakers. Seating in the main living area comprises of a large leather sofa and two classic Eames lounge chairs with ottomans. All bed linen, towels and toiletries are provided Within walking distance of the apartment there are a number of shops including; Post office/village shop, betting agent, Tesco Extra, Indian and Chinese take-away (also serving English dishes - pretty good fish & chips) and some really great pubs with restaurants. A number of footpaths are close by leading to Pagham Harbour RSPB Nature Reserve across the fields and the pebble beach of Pagham  itself is approximately within 15 mins walk.

Lovely place to stay
Lovely cottage - comfortable, stylish and well kitted-out. Great location - only 10 minutes drive from Chichester and close to Pagham Harbour nature reserve. We had a nice meal at The Lion.

Trip to Pagham
Lovely base for touring West Sussex. Lois was very friendly and helpful, and the accommodation was perfect for two. The Lamb Inn just across the road served really good pub grub. We enjoyed visiting Bosham and had a brilliant day out at the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Overall a great short break.

Stylish bolt-hole
A very comfortable, stylish and well appointed place with friendly owners. Lots of interesting things to do nearby - great beach, nature reserve, West Dean gardens, Pallant House Gallery, West Wittering sands.

Highly recommended
I would highly recommend this property for a short break. Beautifully clean, stylishly furnished, well equipped and good value for money. A particular attraction is the ease of travel by public transport to Chichester, local pubs within walking distance and a beautiful coastline. Lois the owner was welcoming and helpful.

A Deightful stay
We enjoyed this spacious chic accommodation – the Dray House is independent of the main house and overlooks a lovely herbaceous garden. The small kitchen and posh shower/toilet were perfect for us. We were not acquainted with the area and were delighted to find miles of Nature Reserve walking off the Pagham harbour. The bus a minute away took us into Chichester (Roman wall, Cathedral and smart shops and eateries) one side of the road or Bognor Regis the other. A couple of excellent meals from the Inn across the road completed our stay!

Excellent Property
Had a great stay in this property in Pagham. High quality furnishings and facilities. Lois was so friendly and welcoming and sociable. Beach just close by. Nearby Chichester is a lovely place to visit with excellent shopping and market. Restaurants galore! Private parking in gated gardens.

Exceptional accommodation.
The Dray house is a beautifully presented property set alongside the owner's own home. It is of a very high standard of cleanliness and with quality furniture and furnishings. Being able to sit outside and have breakfast looking over their garden was such a pleasure. On our holiday, we enjoyed the local area especially walking Pagham harbour with all its different bird life. also visiting Chichester, West Dean gardens and Fishbourne Roman Palace . Lois is a most welcoming, friendly owner who we enjoyed meeting. We would highly recommend The Dray house to any discerning visitor.

Self contained accommodation exceeded expectations.
Lois was very helpful and efficient during the booking process and was very friendly during the stay. The accommodation is conveniently located a 20 min walk to the beach and harbour(now a nature reserve). If you don't want to drive everywhere there are frequent buses to Chichester and Bognor with stops a 2 minute walk from the Drayhouse. The accommodation was very good with high quality furniture and kitchen equipment, perfect for a long weekend or a week, with lots of places to visit within a 30 min drive. A future stay is in our plans.

Perfect Getaway
We so enjoyed our stay in The Dray House. Beautiful place, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The lady was so friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to return.

About the neighborhood
The village of Nyetimber is located to the West of Bognor Regis and is bordered by open farm land. Its internationally important harbour is an SSI and plays host to migratory geese in the winter and numerous waders and truly great birdwatching area throughout the year as birds feed on the mudflats at low tide and the surrounding fields at high tide. Pagham beach is shingle giving way to wide stretches of sand at low tide and panoramic views from Bognor Regis to Selsey Bill. There is a bus stop conveniently located a few meters away from the self catering accommodation which can transport you into Bognor Regis, Chichester or Midhurst

The private drive at The Dryhouse has plenty of parking, please bring your car. But the bus stop is only one minutes walk away with local buses to Bognor Regis & Chichester. An hourly service runs along the South Coast from Portsmouth to Brighton. Trains from Chichester and Bognor stations have daily trains into London Victoria
