The two-level outdoor area comprises relaxation and fun. The first level consists of a plain grass area with a direct stair access to the beach at the end of it, garden paths surrounded with blooming flowers such as levanders and roses, bushes and fruit trees. The second level consists of a swimming pool, a kids swimming pool, a spacious leisure area between the pools with an indoor kitchenette, dining area and a bathroom. There is also a children playground in the exterior area and an x-box 360 game machine in the down-floor living room. A small vegetable garden is located at the north corner of the exterior area. The whole outdoor space is surrounded at the edges with oleanders providing a unique sensation of harmony.

Amazing stay!
All amenities to make our stay more than comfortable, both for adults as well as for children&toddlers, were provided. I can’t think of anything this beautiful villa was lacking.
Fully equipped kitchens on both levels of the villa, as well as a 3rd one by the pool & bbq, which was extremely handy, along with the W.C. and shower by the pool.
Amenities, linen and surrounding spaces were spotless, of good quality and well maintained.
On the first day, we were greeted by the owner, Vassilis, offering us a delicious welcoming dinner. He was exceptionally welcoming, professional & discrete and made sure all our needs were met.
Beautiful beaches and tons of historic places to visit in the area.
We hope we will be able to come back again!

Amazing villa for ideal vacations
The perfect place to be!
Amazing location, ideal structure, this guest house offers almost everything.
From two pools, place to stay and play, outside facilities of shower, wc, chicken etc (apart of the inside) and the most important: absolute quite and isolation.
Vassilis the owner is the live quite for the area!

Awesome Villa & Location
We are two families from England, totalling 10 people. The kids age from 12 to 19 ... two boys, four girls. We spent two weeks in late July early August 2019 at the Friends & Family villa.
This villa is fabulous.
The outdoor areas are fantastic. The combination of the pool, the bbq, the outdoor kitchen, the outdoor shower room and the various seated/lounging areas both in the sun and shade ... all made for the most relaxed and comfortable environment for our two week stay.
The BBQ is awesome. One of the best I have cooked on. Easy to light and to clean.
Having rented many villas down the years, Vasilis, the owner of the Friends & Family villa, is by far the best host I have ever met. Vasilis’s main objective is that his guests have the most enjoyable time possible. His attention to detail was high. He was always available straight away by phone or email. Whilst at the same time being completely non-intrusive.
The villa is very well stocked with all the items you would need. In our case we used the garden kitchen far more than the other two kitchens.
Upon arrival Vasilis’s family prepared a lovely welcome meal of traditional Greek food. The kitchen fridge was stocked with essentials plus breakfast for the following morning. During the week some bread and cake was delivered.
The villa’s air conditioning system is very efficient. It made for a perfect sanctuary from the 30-35 degree heat. All the bedrooms are very comfortable. The mattresses are of a high quality. Pool, bath and hand towels are provided.
The pool is lovely. Approx 9m x 5m. It’s evenly 1.5m deep across its entire area. The sea views from the house and garden are stunning. Sunrises from the beach 50 metres away are beautiful ... the sunrises over the mountains and the dawn casts beautiful shades of pink across the sea.
The town of Petalidi is probably the most surprising aspect of the whole time we spent here. It looks and feels largely untouched by tourism. In our two weeks here I did not see/hear any English tourists. Maybe one or two Italian families, but that was it. It’s fair to say that there are a good number of Greek holidaymakers, which was great. A truly traditional Greek village. The village square is a 10-12 minute downhill walk ... the return is slightly more taxing. We particularly enjoyed eating and drinking at Vamos, Agro, Benetia (only order 1 pizza between 2!) and Namastay.
Further afield, the beaches at Peroulia and Caribbean Beach Cafe are great. Decent amounts of fine sand. Two loungers at Peroulia are €6 a pair, at the Caribbean they are free as long as you order some drinks/food.
Vasilis’s family own the Platanos restaurant in a nearby village. The food is wonderful. Particularly the aubergine and okra dishes. Rather than a printed menu, the owners take you into the kitchen to show you the fare of the day. We ate and drank like kings. The bill came to €128 for ten people. Fantastic value.
The family also produce their own olive oil, so there is a never ending supply for dressing your salads.
I wholeheartedly recommend the Friends and Family villa. It’s perfect.

Excellent!
The perfect vacation. Vasilis, who is an excellent host, was waiting for as with a great welcome dinner. The house was wonderful, really clean and well equipped. The outside spaces (swimming pool, barbecue, etc.) are well thought. We've spent most of our time there, eating, drinking and relaxing. Vasilis thank you for your help and hospitality. We will come back for sure.

Another fantastic visit!
Thank you to Vasilis for making our second stay at the property a relaxing and enjoyable time.
We last visited as a family back in 2016, and enjoyed the region so much we decided to come back, along with a new addition to the family! 4 couples plus a baby and still plenty of space.
If you get a chance, try and visit the nearby Platanos restaurant, run by Vasilis' cousin George, lovely local food in a beautiful village up the surrounding hills.
Hopefully we will be back in the future!

Perfect for large group
This house is very well equipped with everything one needs for a large group looking for a relaxing holiday rental in southern Pelopennes. Plenty of bedding and towels provided, kitchens and washing facilities all provided make a hassle free stay.
Easy access by foot to tranquil village nearby or larger Kalamata by car.
Wonderful scenary, sea, beaches and towns and many interesting sites nearby provides plenty of opportunities for all tastes.
Very helpful owner lives nearby.
Slight downside is the main road is close to the house and can be noisy, though as I write this a bypass is being currently built which will cut down through traffic.

Excellent
We need a place to relax, a pool (got 2 pools) for our kids to swim anytime, the sea (20 yards) for me, comfortable amenities and we got more. It was three families together and we all had our privacy and home comforts. We were all so happy there, left with the nicest of memories. The village was 15 walk.Vasilis was such a hospitable host. Highly recommend to families or couples. We had the best of times. Thank you so much Vasilis & bro xxxxx

Very nice house for family vacations
A group of two big families and 11 people in total had a comfortable and enjoyable stay of four nights in the property. The location of the house is nice with a great view to the sea. There is some noise coming from the street, but it is not disturbing. The beach in front of the house is not good for swimming, but there are descent beaches in a few minutes driving. We were surprised by the attention our host Vasilis has paid to the details: a tasteful welcome lunch and drinks, supplies for our first breakfast, special towels for the pool, extra set of clean bed sheets, outdoors hifi system, wifi, cable tv, video games console for the kids and a fully equipped bbq. In addition, Vasilis was constantly available to help and provide advice about places to visit. As a conclusion we believe that friends and family house is exactly as described and an excellent value for money choice!

In the surrounding area (5-10km) there are ancient hill villages with old stone cottages and where they still live the traditional Greek way of life.
The countryside is mainly farmland with olive trees and fruit orchards. There are many spectacular views from the hills across the olive groves to the sea.
A five minute walk will bring you in the centre of Petalidi, a lovely old fishing village with great character.
There are further bars and tavernas along the sea front where you can relax and watch the fishing boats come in with their catch, or just watch the sun set on the mountains across the water.
There are many shops and car hire is also available in the village.
There is a beautiful church in the centre of the village, surrounded on four sides by tavernas and cafeneos.
Other amenities include banks with International cash machines, fish market and medical centre.
The House is situated in front of a wonderful and quiet beach( 30 m) where you have the choice of swimming either on the beach or in the two swimming pools of the house.
