Great apartment, right by the hot baths
Our group of four adults (two couples) spent 4 nights in this lovely split-level house. It had the kitchen, living room, patio and a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, plus two more bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. The hosts were very gracious, showing us around the house and giving us restaurant recommendations. They also left us some cookies, chocolates, jams and cheese from Terceira as a welcome gift, plus bottled water, tea, coffee and sugar. The house was quite spacious and comfortable, though the stairs were a bit slippery. Also, while the house has a washer, there is no dryer, and the general dampness of Furnas can make drying clothes a bit challenging, so it's best to plan accordingly.
