Locations and nearby attractions were very good. however, the house did not at all come up to expectations. what the photos show is not the reality. many of the utensils in the kitchen were covered in grease. only the master bedroom was good, the other was poor. the worst were the bathrooms. the upstairs bathroom was not clean, a dirty old rug on the floor and no heating. The downstairs bathroom was filthy, moody inside the shower booth and the shower glass was cracked from top to bottom. the outside plastic furniture was very dirty and the canvas sun blind was ripped and didn't work. in general, we would not recommend this to anyone, especially in the winter.

La casa es increíble. Muy cómoda y totalmente equipada. La zona es muy tranquila y al mismo tiempo está cerca de varias playas perfectas para los niños. Tiene una piscina estupenda. Lurdes, la propietaria, es una persona encantadora y el trato ha sido espectacular. Estamos muy contentos. Un sitio para volver.

Arrived over an hour late, but owner waited to welcome us - friendly welcome and tour of the house. Complex is well maintained and laid out with ample parking Initial impressions of the house were disappointing - nicely finished decoratively, but outdated eclectic range of kitchenware and utensils. Owner replaced chipped and damaged crockery as requested. Appliances were dated. Fridge/freezer ice maker and filtered water not working. No air-con... a single fan per bedroom made little difference - beds were very firm and pillows paper thin... all three of these together didn't result in too many good nights sleep. Pleasant back garden with reasonable privacy and quiet in the evenings. The swimming pool is 40 metres from the back gate and well maintained, but generally quiet. Lovely beaches within 5-10min drive so car required. Shops and restaurants in Olhos D'Agua were sufficient. Limited choice of satellite channels... mainly news channels.. Too quiet and not enough "going on" for teenagers. Left confused as to what the "Trip Advisor" recommendation was all about - I've stayed in a lot better at this price.

Lovely villa in a quiet area, I was with my husband and friends for an eight day stay. It was very hot and I think the villa would benefit from air con! A car would be a good idea as we had to hire a taxi each time we went out. But on the whole it was a lovely holiday

I had the pleasure of staying in this lovely villa with my daughter-in-law and her 2 young children. It was beautifully furnished, very spacious and comfortable with a really nice private garden. The shared pool was just a couple of minutes walk situated at the back of the property which suited us with the 2 small children. Lurdes very kindly organised our taxi from the airport and was there to meet us (10.30pm) with the keys. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in this villa.

Very well laid out and well equipped. Might benefit from air con but otherwise great house with easy access to the pool. Spacious with options for dining indoors or outside. We had friends over and comfortably sat 12 people around the terrace table. Great for barbeques. Owners were very helpful.

We (two adults & 2 teenagers) travelled to this villa on Friday 4th July, arriving after midnight, and were met by the lovely owner Lurdes, who showed us around the villa, made us feel very welcome and arranged to return the next morning to show us the pool and garden and to ensure that we had settled in ok. The villa is situated in a very peaceful location in a quiet cul-de-sac but is only a 5 minute drive into Olhos de Agua and a ten minute drive to Albufeira, so you are never far away from shops, supermarkets, restaurants bars etc, although a car is definitely to be recommended if you are staying here. The villa itself is very spacious, with a huge open plan lounge/dining area downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. It is beautifully decorated and also very comfortable to stay in. It has all the home comforts you could possibly wish for including a dishwasher, washing machine, satellite tv, wi-fi etc. There was no wi-fi when we first arrived, but when Lurdes noticed the kids’ disappointment at this, she arranged to have it installed the next day – a fantastic gesture as we had told her it really was no problem. The villa has lots of outdoor space, with a beautifully kept garden accessed via the lounge. The garden has a table and chairs for alfresco dining, and a large tiled area for barbecuing etc. The two bedrooms upstairs both open out to a large sun terrace that contains sun-loungers and a hammock, which the kids absolutely loved lazing about in. The pool is well maintained and is shared with a few other villas, although it was very quiet while we were there and quite often we had the pool to ourselves for hours. In summary, we had a wonderful time in the Algarve, the villa was the perfect place for us to stay and Lurdes was a pleasure to deal with, answering any questions during the booking process promptly. I would happily recommend this villa to anyone looking for fantastic accommodation in a peaceful location in the Albufeira area. We will definitely be going back to the Algarve again next year and plan to stay in this villa again.
