At Akrotiri in a beautiful spot with amazing views of the volcano and the caldera of is situated the beautiful 5 bedroom villa, Michaela Residence.
As you enter from the main door to the living area the beauty reveals in front of your eyes. Colorful paintings, art objects, elegant furnishing, painted walls, wooden ceiling, fire place and stunning views, all in harmony that give the villa a very warm and playful character. You enjoy every moment being in this welcoming environment.
There is also a dining area for 10 persons under a beautiful chandelier.
The living area is equipped with high definition satellite TV, home theater, dvd player, hi fi, lap top computer, wi fi and telephone line open to local calls.

Excellent Stay, Best Views I have ever seen….
One of our favorite ever stay anywhere in the world, nothing less.
The rooms are ideally located to provide some of the best views I have ever seen... Santorini Volcano. The sunsets are simply magical. The pool, is lovely, perfect for cooling down. The staff was very helpful! The villa has a very hospitable and welcoming environment not only because of the decoration of the rooms with colorful paintings, art objects and elegant furniture but also because of the facilities provided (satellite TV, home theater, DVD player, hi fi, lap top computer, wi fi and telephone line open to free international calls). There is also private parking at the back of the house. I would definitely to come back again!

Quiet with lovely views
Comfortable well decorated property with all modcons (including wifi) and spotless throughout. Furnishing is of a high standard including good quality crockery and cutlery. Very spacious and bright with high ceilings so it has a nice open feel to it. For us the highlight were the truly amazing views out over the caldera from the outside lounge area over to Fira and Ia on the other side of the island. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and anything we reported was resolved promptly.
The limitations I would note for awareness of other travellers are:
1. The property is a 20 minute journey from the main towns (Fira and Ia)so if you want to eat out for all your meals in those towns your holiday will involve a fair bit of travelling. We preferred being away from these as it made for a much quieter holiday (the towns get very, very busy). There are some restaurants very close to the villa which whilst having a lower standard of decor to those in Fira/Ia had food which I would rate as better and at around 60% of the cost of the towns.
2. None of the bathrooms in the villa are ensuite.
3. Some of the outdoor light switches are in odd places - ensure you ask on check-in where these are located as otherwise you may not be able to discover them.

Stunning view
We are an adult family of 8. We rented this villa in July 2014. We would rent it again without hesitation. The view is breathtaking, each and every time it is seen and makes the villa very special opposite the Caldera.
The advantages of this villa are:
Quiet even location without the vast steps of Fira or other major towns
(we did not want to stay amongst the hoards of tourists so opted for driving when
required)
The view is stunning
Well furnished and well equipped inside
Extremely helpful and friendly owner (nothing's too much trouble)
Could be improved:
Only 4 sun loungers are provided for 8 guests
The small road that runs in front of the villa can be a distraction, however we would rather have the view and the road than stay in the built up areas that also attract the cruise ship
passengers in their hundreds. This is a much quitter end of a wonderful Island
We can also recommend the local Sea Side beach restaurant
We booked the villa through Fantasia Villas who were fantastic and extremely helpful.
We will use their services again.
We can recommend the sunset cruise around the Island - magical experience

Breathtaking View
This villa was perfect for our family of 7 adults. The owner met us upon arrival and could not have been more gracious and accommodating. The home is beautifully decorated and spotless. Comfy beds. The views are spectacular from the terrace/pool and most of the house. There is a balcony off one of the upstairs bedrooms that is a secret little treasure. The location is about a 15 minute drive from the capital of Fira - we enjoyed traveling around the island and coming back to our quiet little spot. The breathtaking views and beautiful home make this the perfect vacation spot.

Stupenda comoda elegante cara!
Nella incredibile isola di Santorini, uno dei posti più belli del mondo, abbiamo trovato, grazie Tripadvisor, la villa Michaela nel paese di Firostefani. Volevamo ospitare figli, fidanzate e amiche quindi è molto grande. Il numero di camere e bagni lo trovate su Tripadvisor come il prezzo: molto, molto alto, per questo siamo potuti stare solo 6 giorni. Ma li vale. La vista sulla Caldera è strepitosa, la piscina grande abbastanza per nuotare e intanto godersi la vista. Struttura e arredamento veramente belli. Devono averli progettati un architetto per le mura ed uno di interni per l’arredamento. Siamo stati tutti e nove davvero molto bene.
