Inspired by the palette of the surrounding nature's colours, villa Meliti offers the harmony and serenity of the countryside. The ground floor hosts a spacious living room with fireplace and double sofa-bed, fully equipped kitchen and a bedroom with bathroom. A wooden staircase leads to the first floor, where the second bedroom and bathroom can be found. The views of the small green 'princes islands' including the Greek tycoon's Onassis island named Scorpios are simply unique! Marvellous Meliti
My husband and I spent 5 weeks at Villa Meliti in May/June 2013 and, from the moment we arrived to the time we left, it was like being at home. The views from the garden, and infinity pool are spectacular and we didn't get fed up looking out over the sea to the neighbouring islands. The villa itself offers all the comforts of home and, apart from the lack of satellite tv, there was nothing we missed from home. You do need a car as the walk uphill is pretty hard going, especially during the heat of the day, but we did walk it a few times in the evening. The owners can't do enough to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, from the lovely welcome pack on arrival, meeting you to show you the way and are only a phone call away should you need them (which, luckily, we didn't).
Situated in Periagali, on the outskirts of Nidri, the villa is well positioned, is quiet and secluded, yet within easy access by car to Lefkas Town (20 mins) and Preveza airport (40 mins). You are also able to walk to the harbour and go on boat trips to Kefalonia, Ithaca and Meganissi, as well as travel round the island to enjoy the many beaches and attractions that Lefkas offers. There are lots of tavernas to eat in locally and plenty of large supermarkets around the area to stock up in, plus lovely local bakeries, fishmongers and butchers.
We enjoyed our stay so much that we have booked our flights and will be there for the same 5weeks in 2014 - and we can't wait!

The most beautiful view we have ever seen !
From the moment we arrived at Villa Meliti we could tell that the holiday was going to be something special. The Villa is situated at the top of a steep hill,hire car is definitely needed ! The villa is perfectly equipped with two good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The view was simply spectacular and the pool fantastic. The Villa is about 5 minutes drive to the resort of Nydri with its numerous restaurants and other activities. The view from the villa is simply breathtaking.

Lovely villa
We stayed at Villa Meliti in June. The Villa is reached by a steep road which is rather daunting to begin with but then one of the charms of Levkada is the mountains . From the Villa and the infinity pool the views are fantastic. The Villa is compact but not small and is situated in a secluded and quiet area..
We all enjoyed relaxing around the pool and eating al fresco on the terrace. By day we could watch the ferries and pleasure boats scuttling around the islands, and at night we could see the stars and planets. The Villa Meliti met all our expectations and more. We had a lovely relaxing time Thank you

Beautiful villa with beautiful view
We had a very nice stay at villa Meliti. Sir John was waiting for us in the town of Nydri and showed us the way and let us in. Had a nice welcome this way. Immediately we were struck by the beautiful view. The way uphill wasn't a problem for us at all, because we always used the car. The villa itself was spotlessly clean, very well maintained, well eqquipped and nicely decorated. There was a welcoming basket and some fresh products allready in the fridge. Once the gardenman came to mow the lawn, and once a friendly lady came to change sheets and clean the villa. It's nicely located near Nydri, where a lot of reastuarants and shops are. On your way to Nydri you pass aa great bakery. We rented a boat at Lefkas boats in Nydri and explored the sea and islands, even saw dolphins! Highly reccommend such a trip. Our stay at villa Meliti was great, eventhough we first were a little scared of the insects outside. But we got used to them after a while. I would highly reccommend this villa. You will be greatly be looked after from booking to finish! Lefkadahouses thanks again!

Fabulous Villa with a perfect view !
We have just arrived home after a wonderful 10 night holiday in Villa Meliti. We cannot recommend the villa enough - it is perfect!
On arrival we contacted the owner and a lovely man called John met us to guide us up the very steep hill to the villa. The hill proved to be a challenge (even in the car!) on the first trip up but we had a small car with heavy luggage. Once we arrived at the top - John showed us around and all we could say was "Wow"! The views are just amazing and cannot be beaten. The villa itself is well equipped and spotlessly clean. The owners had left a small welcome pack of essentials which was a lovely gesture. It is a short drive into Nidri where we ate most evenings in various tavernas and we can say that we didn't have one bad meal - they were all excellent!
Please do not hesitate to book this villa for your holiday. The only downside is that you could not walk up the hill - you definately need a car. But the views, villa and infinity pool certainly make the journey worthwhile.
Thank you once again Lydia, Eleni and John for being excellent hosts - most helpful in the lead up to our stay, recommending beaches, restaurants etc.
We will return one day!

Simply stunning
A week was just enough time to relax and enjoy the magnificent views. Spotless accommodation, free wifi and lots of good food resulted in a happy family. Walked down and up the hill so improved fitness too. As well as big issues sorted, the little touches made a difference - spare ice blocs in the freezer for picnics. Of course the masterpiece was the endless pool. Swimming along with THAT view will never fade from our memories.

Beautiful Meliti
We had a wonderful stay,the villa was lovely with beautiful views over the sea, a nice pool and well equipped too.It is a steep hill upto the villa but worth it for the panorama. Thank you Lydia and Elena for your helpful communications and we must thank John who showed us the villa,was very welcoming & helped us whilst we were in Lefkada. It was low season when we stayed but there were still good supermarkets in Nidri open and things to do,including hiring a motor boat to explore some of the other islands. We would love to return again sometime.

Simply spectacular views
Stayed in this lovely villa for two weeks. Met on arrival by John who made us feel very welcome. The villa is very well equipped and decorated. The infinity pool was just the icing on the cake. The house is situated high above the sea, hence the views. We did not attempt to walk down to the sea but it is easily reachable if you can face the steep climb back up.
But do not let that deter you this villa is all you could ask for.

Wow!
The view from this villa is breathtaking, the villa has everything you need and John is friendly and helpful - definitely recommend. Advice - reading previous reviews I was forewarned about the access road to the villa (no worries for a confident driver) and would definitely recommend hiring a car to get around the island. had a wonderful relaxing stay.

About the neighborhood
Perigiali village is a quiet seaside village that lies on a hill at the foot of Mount Elati. The cosmopolitan town of Nidri can be found just one kilometer from the villas and is the most popular tourist resort, lying in the center of the eastern shore of the island. It offers all kinds of amenities, from shops, supermarkets and Banks to great night-life, restaurants and coffee shops. In addition to rental boats and daily-cruises on offer, the daily activities in Nidri include all kinds of water sports such as water skiing, para-sailing flights and inflatable toy rides such water-tubes, banana, crazy-sofa, dig mable, etc. <BR>

How to get there
From Preveza airport, getting to Perigiali is very straight forward and we provide the directions. It is about 18kms to get to Lefkada island and then about another 14kms to get to us. After entering Lefkada island, just follow labels towards Nikiana and Nydri villages. A pretty simple road that runs south along the east coastline of Lefkada will take you to Perigiali village which is just about 1km before Nydri village.
