My place is located in the center of the island, making exploring all points of Antigua easy. The airport, English Harbour, St. John’s and many unspoilt beaches are only 15-20 minutes away by car. Although we are not located on the beach, the property is a lush, breezy, tropical escape that is serene and relaxing. The perfect retreat after an adventurous day out. There are 2 large but friendly dogs on the property, as well as 4 shy red footed land turtles. The neighborhood is safe and relatively quiet one. Barking dogs, chirping birds, frogs, crickets and the odd cow are the noises you are likely to hear during your stay. We are a short walk to the bus route, but renting a car is highly recommended. Beautiful Zen Apartment

Located just off All Saints Road, UHURU is a perfect location- just 15 south to bustling English Harbour, or 15 minutes north to town. Car rental is definitely recommended and Michelle has a great contact to help out with that. The apartment is so relaxing...More

About the neighborhood
Bellview Estate is a residential neighbourhood. Many people don't know that it used to be called 'Sherwood Forest' and is home to Antigua's national stone, petrified wood, which can commonly be found in the area. Antiguan's consider this part of the island to be 'country' as it rural and still relatively undeveloped, and away from the hustle and bustle of St. John's.
Getting around
There is a bus stop about a 5 minute walk from my location. Most guests opt to rent a car while they are here. Of course if I'm around and heading out, I'm happy to drop my guests off to places that are on my way.
