This stylish self contained Victorian seafront apartment is 2 mins walk from the beach. You'll be within walking distance of the galleries, antique shops, restaurants and coffee shops of Hastings and St Leonards, not to mention short drives to Bexhill on Sea or historic sites and beautiful villages inland. Within 5 minutes walk of West St Leonards train station, and with plenty of free parking nearby, we are easily accessible.Hastings and Hastings Old Town are a lovely stroll along the seafront. St Leonards has a good bus service with several choices for transport to and from neighbouring towns and villages for example Rye, Bexhill, and Battle. Complementary breakfast cereal, tea and coffee are provided. Also Wifi, Netflix and Freesat TV. St Leonards on Sea is a seaside resort originally designed by builder, James Burton, who decided to create a smaller version of Brighton back in the 19th century. There has always been a strong creative vibe to St Leonards with many artists, musicians, writers, film-makers, and photographers living in the area. There are important and internationally renowned galleries like Lucy Bell's Fine Art Photography Gallery (within 5 minutes walk of the apartment), and the Jerwood Art Gallery in Hastings. There are also many local art and photography galleries. St Leonards is also known for its many antique and vintage shops in Norman Road and Kings Road where bargains can still be found. Again, just a 5 minute walk away. St Leonards shares a double-tiered promenade with Hastings which runs most of the length of the seafront. In addition to the lovely, clean beaches, we are lucky enough to have many well laid out parks and gardens including: Alexandra Park, St Leonards Gardens, Hastings Country Park, Warrior Square Gardens, Gensing Gardens, West Marina Gardens (with putting and bowling green) and Markwick Gardens. Myself and my partner Barry only live 25 mins drive away and always at the end of the phone for any questions or emergencies. We can be on hand in person if required but generally it's your holiday so we won't be around if we aren't needed!

We could not have been more pleased with the accommodation and the amenities provided. The apartment is ideally located just across from the beach and gardens and centrally located for visiting places from Dover to Brighton. Plenty of car parking within a couple of minutes...More

There is ample public transport available nearby. Buses go to Hastings and to Eastbourne. There’s also a train station nearby at West St Leonards with departures for Hastings, Tunbrdge Wells and London. Gatwick Airport is 40 minutes by car.

London (London Bridge, Charing Cross or Waterloo East) to Hastings train line (South Eastern): 5 mins walk to West St Leonard's station 15 mins walk to St Leonard's Warrier Square station 25 mins walk to Hastings station The flat is close by to numerous bus routes going in to Hastings Old Town, Bexhill, Eastbourne, Rye and Brighton There is free parking outside the flat and also at the small seafront car park at the front of Grosvenor Gardens
