We spent 4 nights here on Family trip and I must say that everything was extortionately. The location of this Villa is very close to the ferry as well as the beach which is right in front.
As for the rooms, are very luxury and very hygienic, which comes with a private outdoor jacuzzis.
The staffs were really helpful and friendly.
Food wise was really professionally prepared by private chef, where you can request for the food you desire.
Overall this is a great villa holiday for a Family trip. And we will definitely come back again.

Best place to spend time with family
I was there to celebrate my birthday with my family. All the services and facilities were perfect. I highly recommend to stay here as a group or family trip. No need to go out because all you need is already inside the villa.

We have recently stayed at the Villa with a group of 15 for 4 days. The Villa has a private beach and a super cool swimming pool, the staff team were really nice and very welcome us. Room view to Ocean is amazingly stunning and the food & barbecue is wonderful. Highly recommended for group stay with lost of activities can be organised.

Wonderful place and so private for family
Villa Riva is the best for private get together with friends and family. The facilities are just superb , you can enjoy at every steps. We spent most of the time in the Villa doing things together or relaxing in our luxurious rooms . Also, the staff was so attentive

Great private get together among friends and family
Villa Riva is ideal for private get together or retreat among friends and family. The facilities are superb and just wow you at every turn. Our group of 8 friends really had wonderful time together and spent most of the time in the resort doing things together or relaxing in our luxurious rooms or in various cozy corners. Also, the staff particularly Khun Ann was attentive, courteous and went out of their way to meet our needs.

Paradise in Koh Samui
Villa Riva is beyond anything we could have hoped for during our stay in the unspoilt northern shore of Koh Samui.
Facilities are excellent and plentiful. An ocean view infinity pool looks out over the secluded, private stretch of beach below. There is a 12-seater cinema room, sauna, jacuzzi, a floodlit tennis court, pool table and gymnasium.
Everything has been thought of, down to the very last detail; from a personal fridge in the walk in wardrobe, Egyptian cotton sheets, sumptuous beds, large shower and huge sliding doors opening on to your own personal balcony. We could have stayed forever.
Annie, the head housekeeper, and her team went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The traditional Thai food was fantastic and, as a vegetarian, I was very well looked after.
Tours, excursions can all be organised with the staff there. We were driven to the port for our trip to Ang Thong National Park and picked up just in time for an alfresco dinner under the stars.
A Southeast Asian seaside serenity, Villa Riva is the ultimate retreat from everyday life. We can not recommend it highly enough.

A magical home in a perfect location with a wonderful staff
I stayed at Villa Riva with a group of 15 others (every bedroom had two of us) for a wedding in February 2018. Although it's hard to describe how perfect the house is, I'll give it a try. The location is superb; it's away from the main hustle and bustle of Samui, but it's a five minute walk (or a fifteen minute swim) from a gorgeous beach strip lined with homey bars and delicious restaurants. The Villa itself has a large and impressive infinity pool overlooking the Villa's private beach, which is an easy swim or paddle (the house comes with a kayak and paddle board) from an actual coral reef with numerous reef fauna. The Villa has a gym which is nicer than the training gym I go to in New York City, complete with a massage room, sauna, steam room and a rain shower that was so good we all liked to use it, even though every room has its own lovely bathroom and shower. To top everything off, Annie, our hostess, is a magical person. She took care of our every need while we were there with humor and good cheer, and, when the taxi never arrived to take me to the airport at the end of our stay, she drove me to the airport (45 minutes) herself. AND then she drove BACK to the airport with my iPhone, which she noticed I had left in her car. (Of course, I had no way to contact her to tell her so!) All in all, one of the best vacations I have ever had, largely due to the incredible Villa Riva and, more than anything, Annie.

Picture perfect Villa for all the family
I had a fantastic time at Villa Riva Samui. From my arrival to my departure i was taken care of superbly.
The location is perfect and very convenient with a ferry terminal 10 minutes away and Samui airport 30 minutes. The Villa is set on the side of a small cliff which offers great views, and wonderful surroundings.
There are many activities to do within the villa such as swimming in the infinity pool, sauna and steam rooms, jacuzzi, fitness centre, massage room, indoor cinema, pool table, tennis courts and kayaking from a private beach. However if you wanted to explore the island, the Villa staff are able to recommend and organise day trips and evenings out with their local knowledge.
The staff are expertly trained and are able to speak good English. They are able to prepare a variety of food and cater for all needs such as vegetarians.
Overall our stay was fantastic, the Villa was immaculately clean and great effort was put into the design and finishing touches of the Villa. We hope to visit again!!

Guests can easily arrange private transport in the villa's private luxury mini bus or 7 seater SUV, book land and sea adventures, arrange sightseeing tours and make restaurant reservations. Other activities than can be arranged through the concierge include watersports from the semi-private beach: jet-skis, water skiing, kiteboarding, kayaking, island tours, elephant rides, canopy rides, ATV safaris and temple visits, scuba diving and snorkelling trips to nearby dive sites, Asian PGA golf and driving range.
Getting around
Koh Samui is far more than a beach destination. Inland attractions include safari trips to the island's waterfalls, famous for their towering cascades and the natural swimming pools that gather at the base.The island also boasts a number of fascinating temples, the most famous of which is home to the Big Buddha statue a 12-metre golden landmark that can even be seen as you fly in to the island. Shopping choices are equally vast and diverse, from modest street stalls to high-end fashion boutiques and global brand stores. Samui's local and international chefs also ensure every taste and appetite is well catered for. Adventure sports such as canopy riding, ATV tours and kiteboarding are also popular with residents and visitors to Koh Samui,
