Pleasant stay in Faja da Ovelha at Studio 1
I stayed for a week in Faja da Ovelha at Studio 1 and very much enjoyed both the surrounding countryside and accommodations. The sun was out every day, the temperature was perfect varying from 20 to 24 C and the beautiful sea view from the little balcony was comfortable and surprisingly private. 😎
The little town is a charming mix of old and new, with the usual steep and interesting streets to navigate. This was my fifth time on Madeira and was happy I decided not to rent a car this time. I taxied, then walked and hiked everywhere and was glad I did. The narrow pathways and seldom trod Old World alleyways provide a fascinating labyrinth to explore. (Stay on the navigable corridors and paths, as there are many that have fallen into disuse and thick with sharp brambles).
A few absolute musts, within walking distance, are the hike to the old sugar cane mill and further to the sea if so 'inclined'. Don't miss a dining experience at O Precipicio restaurant. What a cliff top view! 🍹
No complaints really except I pushed the wrong button on the remote for the TV and was without it for the week. (An accidental blessing actually, not a complaint).
A big Thank You to the lovely Mrs. C. the housekeeper. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. 🙏

Modernes Studio
Modernes Studio, sauber und neu, inkl Nutzung Waschmaschine. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Freundlicher Empfang und völlig unkomplizierte Abwicklung. Danke!

Studio bien équipé avec vue parfaite
Studio refait à neuf, grande salle de bain avec VMC et petite fenetre, cusine équipée avec plaques et micro-onde-grill, grille pain et bouilloire. Literie confortable, buanderie à disposition. Mais le mieux ce sont la vue sur océan sans aucun vis-à-vis et le petit village très tranquille. Calheta accessible en 10 min en voiture pour les courses mais petit bar-épicerie dans le village pour produits de dépannage. Village Paul Do Mar plus sympa que Calheta (Mini plage pour baignade, Galets mais on y perd plus vite pieds pour pouvoir nager qu'à Calheta). Départ rando des 25 fontaines (par exple) : 20 min.
Remise des clés : simple et ponctuelle, merci !
Rapport qualité prix excellent, pour une pause au calme, n'hésitez pas

Massapez studios one and two
Excellent studios in Faja De Ovelha. Lovely sea view. Facilities are of a high standard with everything thought of even a laundry room which was very good as we had our toddler Grandson with us. Stunning walks along Lavadas which start close by at Prezeres. A hire car is a must if you wish to see the whole of the island and if you want to eat at more varied restaurants. We found Funchal to be the best place to eat up in the back streets at the marina end of the town but a few streets back.
Host is excellent and very speedy at replying to any needs you may have.

Great appartment with view on the ocean
We spent 3 nights in the appartment : welcome was great, everything simple to organize. A Car is strongly recommended to go there.
The studio is very nice, great design, perfect for the 2 of us. Kitchen, washing machine, dryer.
And great view on the ocean for sunset !
Great place.
