Porcaticcio, an old stone mansion, was renovated by Dutch sculptor Cornelis. The garden is an open air gallery of his art works. The tower-house is one of 2 rental units. The apartment consists of one double bedroom, one triple bedroom, a wide toilet with a shower and a washing machine, a dining room with sofa, tv, library and a big kitchen.The kitchen is well equipped, including a stove with 5 burners and a 90 cm electric oven, fridge with a freezer, kettle, toaster, Italian and American coffee machine. Next to the mansion is a cosy barn for 2 guests. Porcaticcio is really a strategic location on the Apennines, situated on the border between Tuscany and Emilia Romagna. Absolute Paradise
This incredible property in the picturesque Italian countryside is everything you could wish for if looking for a relaxed holiday. Gabriella and Cornelis are warm and welcoming - they also have two adorable and gentle dogs who create a homie and fun-loving atmosphere.
Surrounded by beautiful forest and vineyards, you can go for easy walks along rivers with little waterfalls (with very cool pools to swim in) or more challenging trekking in the mountains. Daily excursions could include exploring the charming villages near by or make day trips to bigger cities such as Bologna.
The property is filled with gorgeous sculptures made by Cornelis. There is a pool, a treehouse deck for yoga and meditation (Gabri is a superb yoga teacher) and the buildings and landscaping are just so well done.
The whole space is comfortable and clean and if you need any help or advise, Gabri and Cornelis are ever ready to assist.
This is a true gem! I hope to return soon and wish for friends to visit as well.

Oasi tra il bello
Una vacanza in una parentesi di bello tra la natura. E’ tutto curato da Gabriela e Corneelis che con gusto internazionale e molto amore hanno ricostruito in oasi di pace. Il punto di forza e’ L’ ospitalità internazionale e il mix tra le sculture di Corneliis e lo yoga di Gabriela. Materia e spirito in un ambiente bello e pulitissimo.

Wunderschöne Umgebung und eine perfekte Wohnung
Wir waren eine Woche im Casa Torre und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr ruhig und romantisch. Die Ausstattung ist einfach perfekt. Schade, dass wir nicht länger da waren und die Küche und den Grillplatz kaum genutzt haben. Die Küche ist perfekt eingerichtet und hat einen supermodernen 90cm Herd incl. Backofen. Alles was man für die Grundversorgung braucht (Salz, Pfeffer, div. Gewürze...), sogar Teelichter waren vorhanden. Das Badezimmer ist ein Traum!!!!!!!! So ein Badezimmer würde ich mir daheim auch wünschen!
Das gesamte Anwesen ist so liebevoll renoviert, dass man lange suchen muss um so eine Ferienwohnung zu finden. Gabriela und Cornelis sind äußerst liebe und hilfsbereite Vermieter. Es ist einfach perfekt hier! Wir kommen sicher wieder!
Allerdings nur für Reisende mit Auto geeignet.

Een droomplek onder de zon in Italie met een fantasische gastheer en gastvrouw.
La casa torre is een liefelijk appartement op een heuvel. Het is een rustige plek met een prachtig uitzicht. Het appartement is uniek en sfeervol vormgegeven door de eigenaar.
De gastvrouw is zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk en bovendien heeft ze ons een yogales gegeven buiten in de mooie natuur.
Rond het huis is voldoende plaats om in zon of schaduw te vertoeven. Bovendien staan in de tuin prachtige beelden gemaakt door de eigenaar.
In de omgeving zijn schattige dorpjes te vinden en restaurants met heerlijk eten.
Echt een plek en een omgeving om te genieten van een welverdiende vakantie.

Ausgezeichnete Fereinwohnung
Großartiges Ambiente, alles sehr persönlich und liebevoll eingerichtet, traditionelles ortstypisches Wohnhaus, künstlerisch angelegter Garten, Wohnen im Skulpturengarten, sehr freundliche und sympatische Vermieter. Diese Wohnung kann man guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

1. Ravenna, to appreciate the Bizantine mosaics, visit the center and taste the piadina romagnola in Ca’ de Ven. In summertime also a swim in Marina di Ravenna.
2. Dozza-Imola, to see the mural paintings and the castle with its precious Regional Winery in Dozza and visit Imola center, better in market days.
3. Brisighella-Faenza, to stroll in the medieval cozy village of Brisighella and see Faenza center, better in market days.

BY CAR FROM BOLOGNA - Motorway A14: direction Ancona, Imola exit. From now 35 km to go. Provincial road: Imola direction Rimini; in Castelbolognese turn right direction Riolo Terme, here starts the Senio Valley. Go on till Casola Valsenio: Porcaticcio di Sopra is on your left exactly 5 bridges (6 km) after Casola Valsenio.
BY CAR FROM FLORENCE - Motorway A1: direction Bologna, Barberino del Mugello exit. Provincial road: Barberino del Mugello direction Borgo San Lorenzo. Borgo San Lorenzo: direction Faenza; at Colla Pass turn left direction Palazzuolo sul Senio. Palazzuolo sul Senio: 10 km direction Casola Valsenio. Our house is on the right side, 1 km after a little village called Mercatale.
