Porcaticcio, an old stone mansion, was renovated by Dutch sculptor Cornelis. The garden is an open air gallery of his art works. This stone cottage is one of 2 rental units. It can host max. 3 persons, but it is perfect for a couple. It consists of a living room with a sofa bed, a well-equipped open kitchen, a bathroom with a shower and a double bedroom in the loft. It includes satellite television, washing machine. Besides, at your arrival you will find some basic food in the kitchen like olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper, sugar, coffee and tea, pasta. You can also pick up fresh herbs from our small herbal garden. Linen are supplied by us. Animals are welcomed. We have two friendly dogs and two cats. Art and yoga: if you wish you can try sculpturing or painting with Cornelis. ...Porcaticcio, an old stone mansion, was renovated by Dutch sculptor Cornelis. The first impression of La Casetta is the beautiful stone buildings and then the warm welcome from Gabriella and Cornelis. But that is just the beginning, with the garden revealing its treasures of Cornelis's sculptures, inviting long meditative sitting or wandering. The cottage is cosy...More

We rented Porcaticcio for one week - I wish it had been more. The location is wonderfully peaceful, yet allows accessibility to the whole region. Lovely welcome. Gabriela and Cornelis are wonderful hosts. I would recommend anyone to make the effort to visit.

Getting around
SIGHTSEEING We suggest at least 3: 1. Ravenna, to appreciate the Bizantine mosaics, visit the center and taste the piadina romagnola in Ca’ de Ven. In summertime also a swim in Marina di Ravenna. 2. Dozza-Imola, to see the mural paintings and the castle with its precious Regional Winery in Dozza and visit Imola center, better in market days. 3. Brisighella-Faenza, to stroll in the medieval cozy village of Brisighella and see Faenza center, better in market days.
