All around are superb views of the surrounding glen and on the top of the hill sight of The Mull of Kintyre, Rathlin Island and Sea of Moyle as well as the adjacent glens and valleys.can be enjoyed. Bring along your picnic and enjoy it at some of the sites provided, information on the history, flora and fauna of the farm is available on site. On the lower tracks guests can enjoy a more leisurely amble taking in the sounds of a wonderful natural environment and listen to the babbling of the River Dun making its way down the valley. An excellent holiday
We experienced a wonderful holiday here. We received a very warm welcome from the owner who provided us with lovely refreshments on our arrival. The cottage is in a beautiful location with attractive views of the Glendun valley below, and at this time of year we were treated to air displays of swifts and swallows outside the dining room window. Drumfaskey cottage has lovely spacious rooms, a very well equipped kitchen and its own garden. It is in a very peaceful rural location, but nonetheless has easy access to the stunning Antrim coast, as long as you have your own transport. We especially enjoyed walking the coastal path between Dunseverick castle and the Giant’s Causeway and a trip to Rathlin Island where there is a bird sanctuary and seal colony. A visit to the waterfalls at the beautiful Glenariff forest park is also worthwhile. We would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful location.
Located in the beautiful Glendun, what more could one ask. The hostess is a lovely friendly lady, who makes you welcome with homemade apple pie and a selection of cakes.

Peaceful\scenic
Would highly recommend. Our family of 5 had an enjoyable, fantastic weeks stay at Drumfasky. Was so peaceful and remote with the most spectacular views of the lovely countryside. Enjoyed the wonderful walks at Rowans way. Ellien the owner was very kind, helpful and has great local knowledge of the surrounding area and its history. Would love to go back again. Thanks again for everything.

Perfect quiet location for enjoying the Glens and N Antrim coast
Lovely location with a sense of remoteness but close to the main road for exploring the N ANtrim coast. Eileen was an excellent host whose homemade scones and apple pie were a lovely start after a long journey. The location is beautiful especially first thing in the morning and the walks close by spectacular. Even if you don't fancy walking on the local Ronan's Way having an early morning walk on the main road along the Glendun River is a great start to the day. The cottage is very comfortable and equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The garden and outside patio are also great in the morning to enjoy your first cup of tea of the day. If you want to get that feeling of remoteness but also close to all the main attractions this is the perfect base for your holiday. For thos who are serious walkers I recommend walking boots to really get the best from the off road walks up the glen which are worth the effort for the view down Glendun to the sea and Scotland on the horizon.

Perfect base for our holiday
Just got back from a great holiday in Antrim. The cottage is in a great location right in Glendun with fantastic scenery. Its a perfect base to explore north Antrim, close to Rathlin island, the rope bridge and the Giants causeway. Eileen the host had fresh apple tart & buns laid out to greet us on our arrival. The cottage is very cosy and equipped with all we needed. We will visit again.

Paradise in Ireland
Words cannot express the peacefulness of this location and cottage. It overlooks fields of sheep and happy birds cheerfully proclaim the beauty of the day. The flowers were fully in bloom making it feel as if you were in a garden. Eileen was so welcoming that it was almost like leaving a family member when we said our goodbyes. She had sweets on the table for tea time when we arrived and a delicious apple pie. She also shared other goodies later in the stay. Eileen was available whenever when had questions and needed assistance with upcoming plans and daytrips. The cottage was well equipped and the best I have ever stayed in throughout Europe. Each bedroom had its own sink.

A tranquil bliss!!
Visited this beautiful cottage rental in December and I will be back!! The location is paradise- set in the midst of the glens of Antrim, it is beyond glorious. The cottage itself is fantastically equipped, from cosy nights in front of the fire to awakening to the peaceful sounds and beautiful views of the glens, this is a real treat! A must for any holiday maker!!

Vraiment super !
MERCI EILEEN !
