What is it? A homestay, camp, dhabha and volunteering opportunity at Spiti.
Homestay: In all willing local homes of Spiti in lesser known (and less crowded) villages of Pangmo and Shego. The idea is to open these places to the world to bring in benefits to the locals (without disrespecting their way of life).
Volunteer: Travel with a cause and give back to people of the valley. Should you choose to volunteer, food and stay will be on us.
Camp: Camping options in open fields near Pangmo, and Shego with breathtaking views.
Dhabha: If you are in the valley, stop by for a great meal, have conversations with fellow travelers and share tea with locals.
Trek: Moderate-difficult: From Pangmo to Chicham (Asia's highest bridge) with homestay at Chicham or Kibber. Includes pickup and sightseeing. (5-day itinerary).

About the neighborhood
Pangmo is a small village about 30 kms and 40 minutes drive from Kaza, Spiti. The dhabha 'Spiti Sojourn' is on National highway 505, main road. If you are going from Kaza to Losar or vice versa, you can easily spot it.
Ask for Mr. Tenzin Namka at the dhabha, who will guide you with the details.
You can easily hitchhike or take a shared cab fr Kaza or any other busy area of Spiti. Just ask for open ground near Pangmo.
