Casa Isabella has been carefully renovated using the honey-coloured stone and cotto flooring traditional to the area, but with a stylish and contemporary interior. It sleeps 8 people comfortably in 4 double bedrooms. The house is situated in rolling hills with views of open farmland and medieval hilltop towns. It nestles in 7 acres of our land, with a vineyard and olive trees dotting the hillside. The private pool (10 x 5 m) is easily accessed through the French doors from the dining and living rooms, and across the terracotta terrace. The house is perfectly situated for a peaceful holiday with family and friends...by the pool...perhaps strolling up to Montegiorgio (a good 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive) with its bustling Friday market, bars and shops; or taking in the excitement of a foot...Casa Isabella has been carefully renovated using the honey-coloured stone and cotto flooring traditional to the area, but with a stylish and contemporary interior. Alternatively there are plenty of other attractions close by, from the art of Crivelli and architecture of Fermo, to plays at the local amphitheatre in Falerone, opera at the renowned Macerata summer festival, lazy days at the seaside in Porto San Giorgio, or a visit to the mountains and lakes, with a few hours spent shopping in the various outlets (Prada and Tod's etc) close by. And not forgetting, of course, that to immerse oneself fully in the region, one must sample the delicious cuisine and wines of Le Marche! In fact, a holiday here truly offers something for everyone!More

The first impression was overwhelming: the beautifully situated house greeted us with a cloud of scent from the lush lavender and rosemary bushes at the entrance. The positive impression continued inside. Everything is very clean and well maintained, good beds, nice bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen, in which nothing is missing. But what we found most beautiful was the garden with a wonderful view of the unspoilt landscape, wonderful fruit trees and a fantastic large pool, which was cleaned every two days. The location of the house is perfect! Montegiorgio with bakery and supermarket very close and the beautiful sea can be reached in 30 minutes. Jane's good tips took us to magical places in the area. We will never forget this wonderful holiday and will return as soon as possible!

Dear Evelyne - thank you so much for this truly lovely review of your holiday at Casa Isabella. I am delighted that you were so happy with the house and pool, and I have to agree that the view from the patio is really uplifting. And yes, there are some wonderful places to visit in this unspoilt part of Italy. We would love to host you and your family again in the future. Thank you again, Jane

We returned to Casa Isabella earlier this month, we were there in July last year and knew that we would love to go back ( in fact we didn’t really want to leave). It is a lovely house. It is welcoming, beautiful and very well equipped. It is wonderfully light and cool and comfortable and airy. There is a sparkling pool with a terrace which looks out over an astonishing, ever changing view. Two months made a significant difference to the surrounding countryside as well as to the garden itself. We had delicious sweet figs and ripe huge pears from the trees in the garden, persimmons were ripening and the plums just over. Mellow fruitfulness abounding. It is a magical region, full of round sweeping valleys like amphitheatres and mountains on which stand walled and ancient towns, too many to choose from and all with stories. It is exceedingly beautiful. Where there had been fields of sunflowers in July there were now rich brown turned fields and stunningly green and golden crops. It is hot and sunny but surprisingly lush. We went to the seaside and into the Sibilini mountains, each easy drives from the house. We also went to Macerata and Ascoli de Piceno, both grand, handsome graceful towns, so differnet from each other, both so intriguing and irresistible to walk around in. Jane’s recommendations of where to eat as well as shop and visit are excellent, she clearly loves the area and writes from her own experience and is always a good guide. There are many guide books and maps in the house ( as well as a great selection of novels, cds and DVDs) We had a wonderful week, but once again are left with the feeling that we would love to go back as there is so much more to explore and it is the perfect house to do it from. Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

We had such a great stay at Casa Isabella. The house is lovely, spacious and light filled, really well equipped and stylish. It’s location is very peaceful, great as a place to truly relax yet close to the town of Montegiorgio and not far from Macerata and Fermo. The lovely beach at Porto San Giorgio was about 35 minutes away. We really enjoyed exploring this area although it was quite hard to tear ourselves away from the gorgeous pool! Thank you!

An absolutely beautiful house in a stunning location. Well equipped, excellently maintained and a great size. 8 of us stayed and it never felt like we were on top of each other. We had a lovely and relaxing time in the serene hills of the Marche region and made good use of the pool and alfresco dining. Not too far from Montegiorgio and surrounded by seemingly unlimited medieval towns atop every hill. A short drive to the beach in Porto San Giorgio and the beautiful town of Fermo. We couldn’t recommend it enough!

Casa Isabella is beautiful and in a wonderful location. We have never stayed in a house more thoughtfully designed to provide everything you need for a carefree holiday. It’s spacious and yet compact, with perfect ease moving from inside to outside. It’s well equipped and really comfortable. The pool is gorgeous and the setting and views are stunning. The owners provided excellent guidance on local towns, restaurants etc, all of which were great. There was a generous welcome gift too. We can’t stop talking about what a great find it was, and we really hope to visit again.

Le Marche is an extraordinarily beautiful region filled with astonishing views and towns and places to visit. Casa Isabella is between the grand Appenine mountains and the sea. It is amongst rolling hills, many topped with picturesque and fascinating medieval towns and villages, agricultural land full of sunflowers and lush vegetation. While we were there it was very hot and sunny and yet surprisingly green. We had a fantastic trip up the looping roads into the mountains and the Sibillini National Park to a cool deep turquoise lake (Lago Fiastra) where is was delicious to swim in the clear fresh water. We also went to the seaside nearby and had a cheerful day on the busy and colourful beach. The nearby towns of Fermo and Macerata are beautiful. We spent a memorable afternoon and evening at the antique market in Fermo which went on until midnight, and took up Jane’s recommendation to eat there in the main square and watch the market comings and goings. Jane and her family clearly love the place and know it very well which means that all her recommendations are thoughtful and personal and good. The information she gave us was clear and friendly, there are also many interesting maps and guide books to look through. The house itself is lovely: big, open, cool and generous. It is beautifully restored with all the comforts of lovely bathrooms and showers a big kitchen, and a huge light and airy sitting room, there is everything you could need there. All of the details and colours are considered and pleasing. There were four of us, but the house sleeps 8 very comfortably. ( The beds are very comfortable). There is a lovely sparkly pool in the garden which itself has stunning views all around it. I could have stayed there the whole time and just watched the swifts and swallows skimming the surface of the water ( when we weren’t in it). The house feels very secluded and sits in its own land, but it is also surprisingly close (5 mins) to the little town of Montegiorgio with its excellent small supermarket, bakers and butchers, places to eat and lively market. We were there for a week and really didn’t want to leave (ever). I very much look forward to returning. Thank you Jane and Andrew.

Casa Isabella is stunning. We enjoyed the most chilled out week of our lives. The accommodation is well appointed and tastefully decorated. A real home from home. Montegiorgio is a lovely little town. A couple of local restaurants. The walk is hard going....about 30-35 mins...keeps you fit! Only tip is to beware of the mosquitos! Take lots of repellant. Jane the owner is great...so approachable and helpful. We highly recommend this place for you next holiday.

We really appreciate your positive review and are so happy that you had such a relaxing time in Casa Isabella. (Sorry about the mosquitoes .....) Yes, Montegiorgio is a lovely little town - one of many beautifully preserved local medieval towns in the area. Please do come and holiday in Casa Isabella again...you’d be most welcome!

We have enjoyed an absolutely wonderful week in Casa Isabella. The house is so beautiful and set in the most magical countryside. The views from the garden were amazing and we enjoyed supper outside, watching the spectacular sunsets. The house has a lovely feel, it is really well equipped and the layout and pool were perfect for our family, plenty of bathrooms for the young adults! The owners were really helpful and we followed lots of their recommendations for local restaurants - all of which were great. We visited the beach, local markets and some of the medieval hilltop towns - all within easy reach. We would highly recommend this villa.

We are a family of five, 8, 5, 2 and came for a week to stay in this stunning villa - unfortunately we had the first thunderstorms of the summer but were very grateful the villa was so well equipped and modern that it made the disappointment of the weather more bearable! The private area around the pool is perfect and very restful - the view is stunning but our suggestion would be to make sure the trees are trimmed regularly as they were starting to block the lovely view. Additionally the track down to the villa is slightly tough on the hired car!!! The owners are a joy to deal with and provided perfect information about the local area. We also had a wasps nest next to the pool and after emailing the owner this was immediately sorted out despite them being based in England - incredible service! we would definitely highly recommend this villa and the surrounding beautiful area.

Thanks so much for your lovely review of Casa Isabella. We are so pleased you found the house so comfortable and well-equipped. So sorry it had to come into its own as a refuge from the unseasonally showery summer weather! We hope you will come again and experience it in the usual glorious summer sun!
