Heerlijk authentiek huis in historisch stadje
Achter de smalle deuren in het keienstraatje zit een prachtig huis verborgen. Wij (vrouw met twee kinderen 12jr-6jr) huurden van Sam een kamer met drie bedden. We hadden onze eigen badkamer met toilet ter beschikking en maakten gebruik van de woonkamer en keuken beneden. Het huis is voorzien van wifi (belangrijk met een puber ;-) en in de keuken is alles aanwezig om een lekkere maaltijd te bereiden. De open haard brandde dagelijks. Sam is als gastheer van onschatbare waarde. Hij weet met boeiende verhalen en de mooiste plekjes Sardinië tot leven te brengen. Sam heeft mij regelmatig van tips voorzien. En ook van een lekkere warme kruik op de koudere avonden (januari), hoewel de verwarming de kamer ook snel op temperatuur bracht. In de midweek dat we er waren hebben we heerlijk geslapen, mooie en mystieke natuur gezien en zijn we echt tot rust gekomen. Een aanrader!

Authentic home in beautiful Santu Lussurgiu
Everything about our Sardinia trip was special – the island itself, it’s people, the food, the landscape, … What made it even more special was the personal touch that our guide Sam added – with his knowledge, his enthusiasm and the sharing of his own authentic private home in beautiful Santu Lussurgiu.
It's a really charming, well-maintained 14th century home with all the modern comfort that you need. It's located close to the city center and several ecxellent restaurants.
A cherry on a delicious cake - and a reason to come back soon!

Lovely setting.
Santu Lussurgiu is a small village found nestled at the bottom of a natural valley, formed by ancient volcanic activity where the keep alive property can be found, hidden away from the bustle of tourism amongst narrow cobbled streets and friendly locals.
The 14th century home hosts retreats as well as being available to rent. When you walk in through the front door and down some small steps into the kitchen, it’s a setting of warmth and tradition. Its rustic charm is found in the open fire and large kitchen table, set to accommodate a homely gathering and traditional foods. It has two bedrooms, one en suite - with a small balcony opening onto the front street. Both have double beds and the larger of the two at the back of the house has an extra single bed.
There are stairs to deal with, (for those with restricted mobility, it will likely not be appropriate) but that is standard in this type of building. The surrounding area is rich in history, quaint little villages and a choice of beaches and treks within varying distances.
Local restaurants, shops and cafes cater well and are all very friendly.
Sam is a friendly host, with lots of local knowledge, in particular of the whereabouts of the many nuraghes and will point you in the best direction to accommodate your needs.

Gezellig, authentiek, smaakvol, vriendelijk.
Ik heb genoten van dit bijzondere huis in het bijzonder sfeervolle dorp met prachtige omgeving. Een heel fijne basis voor de retreat die ik heb gegeven en absoluut voor herhaling vatbaar.
Een aanrader als je houdt van het pure Italië gevoel.
Eigenaar Sam heeft een schat aan informatie over de omgeving en wat er zoal te doen is en sluit moeiteloos aan bij wat jij zoekt.

Buitenaards genieten
Op een mooie plek in het mooie Santu Lussurgia ligt midden in het dorp dit mooie huis. De vele kronkelende straten, steegjes, trappen en nissen is een waar wandelgenot. De culinaire restaurantjes waar Sam ons op attendeerde evenals de mooiste plekken in de omgeving heeft gezorgd dat wij buitenaards genoten hebben.

Wat een fijne plek
Na een week met de groepsreis hebben we nog een paar dagen doorgebracht bij Sam in zijn 14th eeuwse woning midden in Santu Lussurgiu. Wat een fijne belevenis. Een fijne kamer met een heerlijk bed en eigen badkamer. Eetwensen werden vervuld en dat was pure verwennerij.
Het meest hebben wij genoten van de bevlogenheid van Sam om informatie te delen om de mooiste plekjes te kunnen ontdekken. En ook als hij tijd had nam hij ons mee naar bijzondere plekken.
Wij komen graag nog eens terug!

Wonderful, warm experience
Our stay in this home has exceeded our expectations. We want to thank Sam for his outstanding hospitality and helpfulness during our stay. He was always there to give us tips on good restaurants and places to visit! The house itself is very cozy and fully equipped, in a lovely town surrounded by beautiful nature. We will definitely come back here!

Very nice house
This authentic old Sardinian house in the center of Santu Lussurgiu has a place in our heart forever.
The house has a traditional touch.
The kitchen and bathroom are stunning. The host Sam Pitzalis is from Sardinië and can tell you everything about history and where to see old and mystical places. The environment is very romantic, with small old streets, sometimes to reach by stairs, make you feel walking in a different time.

Tolles Ambiente, Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, nett, freundlich
Dieses 120 m2 große und auf 3 Etagen verteilte Haus in Mitten vom malerischen Dorf Sant Lussurgiu kann ich nur empfehlen. Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, jedes Zimmer hat eine Klimaanlage. Auf jederEtage gibt es ein Bad mit Badewanne und Dusche.

"SENTIRSI A CASA 🏡"
Sono stata con degli amici ad agosto presso il b&b di Samuele Pitsalis a Santu Lussurgiu, vicino Oristano.
Il b&b è una vera e propria bomboniera!
Ogni dettaglio è curato con grande attenzione e amore.
Soggiornare là è stato come fare un vero e proprio tuffo nel passato.
Le ampie arcate con i mattoni trasmettono un caldo abbraccio a chi giunge lì.
Samuele è un Host speciale, molto accogliente e simpatico e ti fa sentire davvero a casa!
I colori della cucina sul verde acqua e delle camere da letto sul celeste e rosa salmone trasmettono molta serenità.
Molto accurato anche lo stile shabby delle stanze che ben si sposa con il calore del legno.
Il bed and breakfast trasmette un'energia di pace interiore.
Ho trovato molto stimolante anche l'esplorazione dei nuraghi, luoghi antichi dal grande potere energetico, che abbiamo fatto guidati da Sam che, con grande gioia e gentilezza ed esperienza, ci ha accompagnati in questa particolare esperienza.
Mi sembra un ottimo punto d'appoggio per andare alla scoperta degli splendidi paesaggi della Sardegna.
