We loved our time at this place. Gail and Mark are so helpful and welcoming. You'll have the best location and great service. My recommendation is just go!

We finally managed to spend time at Foxy Crocodile and it was worth every minute of the wait. Gail and Mark were wonderful hosts and our apartment was so beautiful. We had two super dinners cooked for us and loved eating in front of the open fire each night. As Foxy is situated right along the fence we spent the first night listening to a pride of lions hunting!! We loved meeting Gail and Mark who went out of their way to make our stay absolutely perfect…thank you both so much.

It is an unique place with lovely and inspiring people. The accommodation is great: a special atmosphere near to the Krugerpark with hippos in the ‘backyard’. Mark and Gail are very helpful and make sure you will enjoy your stay! The food is great, especially the African dish from Grace. And wait till you meet Alice the squirrel. We will come back!

Wir waren 3 Nächte in dieser Unterkunft und es war einfach alles perfekt. Die Gastgeber Gail und Mark sind super nett und hilfsbereit, die Begrüßung war schon sehr herzlich und die Tiere (Zebras, Giraffen,....) kommen direkt an der Terrasse. Die Lodge ist total liebevoll und großzügig eingerichtet - es fehlt an nichts (eigener kleiner Pool, Außen- und Innendusche, große Terrasse mit eigener Feuerstelle usw.). Auf Wunsch kocht der Chef abends persönlich und wir können es nur empfehlen - sehr lecker. Das war unsere 3. Südafrika und Namibia Rundreise und diese Unterkunft war für uns bisher eine der Schönsten .... wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder :-) - und dann mindestens für 4 Nächte

I don't even know where to start, but this place is bush-heaven. Not only was our apartment (we stayed at the Crocodile Apartment) very spacious, spotless clean, well equipped with an outdoor kitchen, Braai, private pool and a huge veranda - but you can see in every detail, that Gail and Mark wanted to create a place to relax and enjoy yourself. This place was not only a beautiful accommodation to us but so much more. Gail and Mark were the most helpful hosts, suggesting an itinerary of Game Drive/ Bush Walk activities and booking them for us. We really enjoyed the interaction with them, as it gave us insights on South African life and sharing stories was so interesting. We always had a nice fire burning when returning from our day activities und Mark showed us how to properly braai in a South African way one night. The location itself is also a killer - located right at the Crocodile River you can actually see into Kruger and spot animals. We were lucky and Zebras, Impalas, Warthogs and Kudu were regular visitors not only in Kruger but in our garden. We would never ever stay anywhere else when returning to Kruger hopefully soon, thank you so much for everything!

Wir haben uns gefühlt als wären wir bei Freunden zu Gast, dies hat es zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht. Das Appartement war super ausgestattet, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Es fehlte an nichts. Die Riesen Regendusche plus Aussendusche ist genial. Vom nur 50 Meter entfernten Kruger Zaun haben wir direkt bei der Ankunft unser erstes Nashorn gesehen. Ein absolutes Highlight sind die Abendessen die Gail und Marc zubereiten. T-Bone Steaks von Marc persönlich am Lagerfeuer auf der Terrasse zubereitet-unschlagbar! Auch das Frühstück und das Lunch Paket für die Safari waren super. Am Tag unserer Abreise gab Marc uns noch den Tipp wo wir die bis dahin nicht gesehenen Löwen finden. Natürlich haben wir Sie dann aufgespürt. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur jedem wärmstens empfehlen. Wir waren sehr traurig darüber nur so wenig Zeit im Foxy Crocodile verbracht zu haben. Hoffentlich kommen wir irgendwann wieder. Bis dahin Cheers.

Bien joli chalet grand confort .. Le petit bassin privé .. Les zèbres venus nous saluer et ô merveille la rencontre avec le bush baby .. L'enthousiasme de nos hôtes .. Une bien belle adresse , une bien belle rencontre : allez-y !

We stayed two nights at Mark's and Gayle's place and it was just wonderful. This is probably the best place you can stay around Kruger Park. Mark and Gayle have totally unterstood what it means to be fabulous hosts. not only are the apartments just great - so many different places to stay and enjoy - but they also provide perfect service and Information without annoying their guests like others do. They know exactly what their guests want and need and think the step further to give you the perfect experience. Thanks again for these wonderful days - hope we'll come back!!!

Wir haben zwei Nächte bei Mark und Gail verbracht und wollten diese Unterkunft lediglich als Ausgangspunkt für Safaris in den Krüger nutzen. Mark und Gail haben unseren Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz besonderem gemacht!!! Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und hatten direkt eine Flasche Champagner und Knabberzeug in der Unterkunft stehen. Das Apartment ist riesig und war immer top in Schuss. Wir konnten ebenfalls unsere Wäsche bei den beiden waschen. Abends wurde von Mark auf unserer Veranda Lagerfeuer gemacht und alle Lichter angezündet. Wow!!! Und das mit direktem Blick auf den Krüger. Wir konnten von unserer Veranda direkt in Krüger Nashörner und Elefanten sehen. Im eigenen Garten wird man Bonn Zebras, Empalas und Warzenschweinen besucht. Da wir erst sehr spät ankamen haben uns Gail und Mark noch ein Abendessen gezaubert :))) das dürft ihr euch nicht entgehen lassen!! Vielen Dank noch mal!! Für unseren Game Drive am nächsten morgen wurde und eine Lunchbox liebevoll zubereitet. Die beiden geben sich die beste Mühe, die wir je erleben durften!!! Wir können Sie voll und ganz weiterempfehlen. Würde es mehr Sterne geben, ihr würdet sie bekommen. Sollten wir wieder nach südafrika reisen machen wir bei euch auf jeden Fall einen Stop!!! Foxy Crocodile is probably the most amazing accomodation with the best hosts for the most reasonable price you could ever find. Wildlife roams on your doorstep, bushbraais and potjiekos all around. One stop shop for organizing your best Kruger Experience. Would recommend Foxy to anyone looking to truly unwind and find peace and tranquility in the bush in ultimate luxury.
