Back up service Veronica will meet and greet all guests where possible and I am at the end of a phone line in the centre of the country or later in the summer in close proximity. In my absence Veronica is in total control and will provide you with a back up service second to none residing in the direct vicinity. Public areas are all lit up and the use of bins for general waste and recycling waste is provided. There is ample parking on site for both you and your guests.

About the neighborhood
It is set in an idyllic location in the heart of Connemara, mid - way between the picturesque towns of Roundstone and Clifden beneath the Hill of Doon. It is a short drive from Connemara National Park and the very popular Diamond Hill, highly recommended for a full day out combining exercise with the delights of the cafe at the foot of this 442M 7KM mountain hike with excellent walking paths for the ambitious beginner. The twelve bens/ pins are also nestling in the distance. The newly completed Derrygimlagh 5Km looped walk telling the Marconi story is a short drive as is the Alcock and Brown monument.

If golf is your thing then you’re coming to the right place. The house is only minutes from the famous 27 hole Connemara Championship Links. This course is renowned among golf enthusiasts and is set in stunning, breathtaking surroundings, a mere stroll from the house.

How to get there
Pony trekking and fishing are also available in abundance in this area and should you catch your own, or just the fisherman landing, you can come away with the catch of the day from the pier at the endof the road. Boating is also a favoured sport in the area, which can involve anything from surf board to kayak to trawler size. Doon Hill and the ruins of the Pirate Queen Grainne Mhaoil’s castle are in view and Connemara Smokehouse, and the local surfing beach at False Bay are very close by.
