Doon Hill House is set in a unique location at the foot of the famous Doon Hill. The house fantastic views overlooking the lake and is surrounded by the beautiful natural wildlife of the West of Ireland. Not only is Doon Hill have a fantastic backdrop, it is also conveniently placed only a few hundred yards from the renowned Connemara links golf course. The house itself is intrinsically warm and cosy, suitable all year round no matter what you are looking for.

About the neighborhood
Doon hill house is located just a few minutes walk from Connemara Links Golf Course as well as golden beaches and rugged landscapes. If you're looking for a quiet drink or some traditional Irish music, Keogh's pub is only a 5 minute drive away. The idyllic seaside town of Roundstone is well worth going to and is about 15 minutes drive from the house.
As the is nearly as far west as you can go in Ireland, there isn't much in the way of public transport so a car is needed. You can forgo the car if you intend on just hiking or exploring the local area.
How to get there
Getting to Doon Hill House can be a little tricky if you aren't familiar with the area. If you are coming from Clifden, take the directions to Ballyconneely. Drive for 9km until you come to Keogh's pub, Ballyconneely. Take the right turn after Keogh's pub and drive for another 4km. The house is on your left ina group of houses at a small T-junction.
