Great Location, Poor Execution
Great Location and proximity to the beach. Beautiful views. Problems were: A/C was not working on top 2 floors. No screens on windows. Grill was filthy, broken and no propane. Sofa and chair were stained. Barware was very mismatched. Great house but poor property management.

The family time was wonderful!
It was a beautiful week with family. We had some hiccups. The air conditioner went out and one of the bedrooms had a leaky ceiling. The carpet was wet all week and we kept pans to catch the water. The house is actually a duplex with neighbors. Nothing was in print about that so you need to know that before you come.
They did put in a new air conditioner on our fifth day which really helped a lot.
Being with our children from Chicago and Va Beach was the best part of the vacation!

Awesome place right on the ocean!! Amazing!!
This beach house was fantastic, we wished we could live here year round! The house is decorated perfectly for a beach feel and the floor plan is great. The house was equipped with everything our large family needed. And what can you say about the fantastic ocean views! You are right there on the beach! We have to admit that we sort of laughed at the other reviewer who complained about the "10 pounds of sand in the outdoor shower", because this shower is right off the beach and it helps remove all the sand before you go back inside, so of course there's going to be sand.. We all had a wonderful time and we will definitely be back next year!

Nice house inside
We liked the house and the accommodations. The only thing that was a big dislike was the beach access. Obviously the hurricane damage took out the wooden walk-way but that needs to be put back or better yet an access from the 1st floor deck straight to the dune would be perfect..

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. The home is a wonderful getaway. We will happily review the beach access status and see if there is something that can be addressed. At times coastal management limits what can be done and prevents modifications to the existing dune structure.

Great beach house
We felt everything was great. Lots of things to do in the area. Beach access was great. We would definitely go back. Pet friendly was a great option for us.
