Hemos reservado 5 días (11 a 16 de Agosto) en uno de los 3 alojamientos del Sr. Carlo por Airbnb. Antes de aceptar nuestra reserva (con previo pago), el Sr Carlo me ha ofrecido la posibilidad de cambiar de alojamiento para estar mejor con la familia a el apartamento del bajo y estar en la planta de la piscina. ERROR, al yo anular la reserva para querer reservar al momento en el otro alojamiento, he perdido la reserva y según me comenta el Sr Carlo, le ha entrado una reserva desde trip advisor de larga estancia. Claramente me ha engañado y su único propósito era llenar más días su alojamiento. Es comprensible y lo entiendo, pero me parece una mala praxis y mucha intranquilidad para los clientes que reserven con Carlo, debido a que es posible que les anule a ustedes la reserva unos días antes sin coste para el y se queden sin alojamiento a última hora Una decepción terrible

We were delighted to be able to travel to Tuscany in summer 2020, after it had looked unlikely during the COVID-19 lockdown. Our ground floor apartment was perfectly clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for our holiday. The pool area and gardens are excellent, and the views across the valley breath-taking. Thank you to Carlo for providing directions and for being there to welcome us on arrival. We really enjoyed our stay.

We were very impressed by the welcoming and the beauty of that place. We were delayed in arriving (between 11.30 and 11.45 PM) and Carlo was there with his wife Manuela, waiting for us. Manuela had prepared special cookies with almonds (a Tuscan specialty) and gave us 2 bottles of water. This kind of welcome is really out of this world. Thank you Carlo, Manuela, Anna and their children:) Everyone who so kind and helpful. We will certainly reserved again in the same place. This is a the best place to visit all cities in Tuscany

De locatie is in een klein dorp waar niet veel te doen is. Het appartement is ruim, schoon en echt van alle gemakken voorzien. Uitstekend bijgehouden. Keuken is volledig (incl oven en vaatwasser). Klein minpuntje zou kunnen zijn dat er slechts 2 kookplaten zijn (keramisch hallogeen). Het zwembad is heerlijk voorzien van voldoende stoelen en in de tuin zijn diverse hoekjes te vinden om te lezen of gewoon van het schitterende uitzicht te genieten. Supermarkt op 15-20 minuten rijden. Het kan er warm zijn maar in het appartement zijn enkele ventilatoren. De prive tuin is redelijk, voorzien van eenvoudig meubilair. Appartement gebouw soms wat gehorig. Toplokatie en aardige mensen. Hulde.

Stayed with our 2year old son. Clean and spacious accommodation. Friendly family. Nearby restaurant and cafe excellent. Found playground on outskirts of village. Walked 1km to a winery which was lovely. Pool a little cool when we visited. Grounds amazing. Day tripped to all the usual spots with ease chianti, san gam, Volterra, sienna. Took the tram from outskirts of Florence to centre- which was straight forward. Particularly enjoyed both the new and old areas of Colle di Val d’Elsa.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Casa Gelsomino. The location is great for visiting many of the classic Tuscany sights - Sienna, Voltarra, San Gimignano etc, but the village also has a great restaurant and bar so it is possible to relax locally without leaving the lovely village. The accommodation has access to a beautiful pool and the garden terrace has simply stunning views across the Tuscan countryside, although in high summer we would urge using mosquito spray in the evening! All in all, a fantastic location but what really made the trip was the hospitality showed to us by Carlo and his lovely family - we hope to return in the not too distant future.

We were a family of four with two teenagers and the apartment was spacious and immaculate. The shared pool had fantastic views and was a lovely place to relax. It was well located within easy reach of San Gimignano, Siena and Florence. The village has a good restaurant which is five minutes walk away. Carlo and his family were very welcoming and on hand to answer any queries. I would recommend this apartment and we had a great holiday. Thank you Carlo and Emanuela.

Situated in the heart of Tuscany, this property has exceeded our expectations. Lovely hosts, beautiful house surrounded by astonishing views. A property with a nice history, that lays quietly through the nice Tuscany hills. Cozy apartment,excellent level of cleanliness, everything we needed at hand! I would recommend to anyone. Our kids will never forget nonna Ana! We wish health and happiness to Malandrini family members of all ages!

Von Castel San Gimignano aus haben wir die schönsten Sädte der Umgebung besichtigt. Auch der Strand der Riviera war gut erreichbar. Nach jedem Trip haben wir uns aber auf unser "Zuhause" in der Casa Gelsomino gefreut. Es war ein herrlicher Blick beim Frühstück in die Berge der Toskana. Eine tolle Ausstattung der großzügigen Wohnung und die Mitnutzung der des Kräutergarten der italienischen Bilderbuch Großeltern des Gastgebers rundeten alles ab. Wir werden die Zeit dort sehr vermissen.

We loved our stay at castle San Gimiginano. A great place to relax and also travel around parts of Tuscany . Very clean and comfortable accommodation with great views. We would definitely stay here again.
