Our attractive holiday properties lie in the peaceful conservation vilage of Colerne (6 miles from Bath) in Wiltshire, surrounded by rolling countryside.

Beautfiully and sympathetically built, the detached, single storey barn, The Shippon, offers light and airy, contemporary accommodation. Open plan sitting room and kitchen with underfloor heating and wood burning stove. Luxury bathroom with luxury products.

Colerne offers a good selection of shops and pubs and with a regular bus service to and from Bath and within easy reqach of Bristol, Bradford-on-Avon and the much-filmed villages of Lacock and Castle Combe. The village shop and cafe is located 200 yards away together with a family pub and restaurant close to Daubeneys. The location also offers some lovely country walks.

Warm welcome from Melanie on arrival who had left some goodies in the kitchen for us. The cottage was well equipped, light and airy with plenty of room for us and Mavis the dog who thoroughly enjoyed the chance to play with Robin the owners border collie in the gardens. Perfect location for Badminton Horse Trials in a very pretty...

This cottage should have got five stars - it is very well equipped and very well presented and gave us everything we needed for our Wiltshire walking weekend in a picturesque village, aside from some privacy. Unfortunately, we didn't realise quite how close it was to the owner's house, being situated within their garden, and that the floor to ceiling...

Sorry you felt the property was too exposed. The other holiday cottage cannot be seen at all by this one. And our house location is opposite but again we cannot see in. There are sheer curtains in the open plan kitchen and sitting room area and some can be drawn but the view from this building mainly of the garden...

Our attractive holday cottages and Shepherd Hut are set in the peaceful village of Colerne, surrounded by amazing views. There are many walks short and long. The property is part of a grade 2* listed building dating back to the 13th century. It is the oldest house in the village and of great historical interest.<BR><BR>The Shippon is a single-storey barn which offers light and airy contemporary accommodation and sleeps four. Our other property The Stable sleeps 3 and there is also a sheperds hut which sleeps 2 (see property ref: 325041).<BR><BR>Colerne offers a good selection of shops and pubs and with a regular bus service to and from Bath and Chippenham.
