This wonderful galleried holiday property lies in the peaceful conservation village of colerne (6 miles from Bath) in Wiltshire surrounded by rolling countryside. And, only 6 miles from Bath. There is also a bus to and from Bath in the village. 2 pubs, village mini supermarket, cafe and more ... a lovely relaxing place to stay.

Beautifully restored, the grade 2* listed stable conversion is part of the only longhouse in Wiltshire and dating back to the 13th century is the oldest house in the village and of great historical interest.

NOTE: This property (which could include the Shepherds Hut) can sleep up to 5 guests (one double bed, single day bed upstairs which is ideal for a couple with one child). a beautiful holiday cottage, comfortable and cosy. A perfect Mrs Butterworth, who cares for her guests and takes care if wanted and needed. And a lovely dog watching my husband cooking the meals :-)

We came back again this year as we enjoyed it so much . Few changes , new flat screen TV , log effect gas fire .. Warm welcome from Melanie and as expected cottage was immaculate. Pub opposite does even better food than last time...More

£100 deposit required to secure your booking

Maximum 2 dogs accepted at a charge of £25 per dog per stay. Please note during summer school holiday weekly bookings only.

About the neighborhood
Our attractive holday cottages and Shepherd Hut are set in the peaceful village of Colerne, surrounded by amazing views. There are many walks short and long. The property is part of a grade 2* listed building dating back to the 13th century. It is the oldest house in the village and of great historical interest.

Our other property, The Shippon is a single-storey barn which offers light and airy contemporary accommodation and sleeps four.

Colerne offers a good selection of shops and pubs and with a regular bus service to and from Bath and Chippenham. Chippenham and Bath railway station is only 15 minutes away. You can be out here within 2 hours of London.

The village shop and cafe is located 200 yards away together with a family pub and restaurant close to the property.
