Lapwing cottage is a modern barn conversion decorated and equipped to a high standard and has a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Situated on a friendly working farm in the North York Moors National Park near the village of Goathland and only 8 miles from Whitby. A place of peace and tranquillity set amidst truly breathtaking scenery.
Heating is by way of a ground source heat pump, the ground floor being underfloor heating and the first floor by radiators. There is also a wood burning stove to provide that cosy country feeling.
Inside the cottage you will find complimentary tea, sugar and coffee we also provide tea towel, dish cloth, cling film and foil. Upstairs in the shower room you will find complimentary shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, cotton wool, paper handkerchiefs and toilet paper. Drainage is by way of a septic tan...

Ferry: Hull: 55.9 mi
Take A169 Pickering to Whitby road. If from Pickering end take the second Goathland turn. If from Whitby end take the first Goathland turn. After 1/4 mile turn at White sign post Green End/BeckHole. Exactly 1 mile make a right turn (old stone milk stand) follow the track to the farm gate (Greenlands Farm stone on your left). Continue on the track to the farm.
