The apartment is in a great location only a few steps from the beach and the bars and restaurants of this pretty seaside resort on the Tuscan coast. Castagneto N is situated on the top (third) floor of an apartment building just off the main promenade and is reached by a lift or stairs. The ground level of the building houses shops and bars and the upper floors apartments. Castagneto N, which has a light and airy feel, consists of a living room with two armchairs (which can convert to two single beds on request), dining table and chairs, satellite television and kitchen unit. There is also a triple bedroom, with a double bed and single bed which also opens onto another balcony with side sea view, a lovely shower room, a washing machine and the apartment also has air conditioning and heating. Castagneto N has a communicating door connecting it with studio apartment Castagneto M, therefore a good possible option for larger families requiring two bedrooms. A great advantage of Castagneto N is its' proximity to the beach just 20m away, a door from the ground floor entrance hallway leads directly onto a free public beach, flanked on either side by areas with facilities where sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire. Marina di Castagneto also has good selection of restaurants, bars and shops running the length of the resort and along on the seafront, all accessible on foot. The apartment has a private parking space close to the building. Although it's tempting to spend lazy days just sunbathing on the beach and swimming in the azure Mediterranean sea, there is plenty more to see and do in the area. Within easy driving distance there are many pretty local hill towns to visit, such as Castagneto Carducci, Sassetta, and Bolgheri to name but a few, as well as nature parks and vineyards. The beautiful bay of Baratti overlooked by the interesting historical town of Populonia is well worth a visit and further inland San Gimignano, Volterra and Siena are wonderful days out. Even the Island of Elba is easily accessible via the ferry port just half an hours' drive away and for the little ones close by is the 'Cavallino Matto' theme park and the 'Acqua village' water park with swimming pools and slides is at Cecina just 15 minutes drive away.
