The beach house Afratias is built behind the dunes of the natural beach Afratias, overlooking the Messara Bay and the sea in one direction and valley with the Psiloritis on the other side. Both chic and comfortable the spaces provide an environment of relaxation satisfying those looking for a quite place at the beach. The beautiful views let the gaze travel towards the horizon, while you enjoy your coffee or wine o the balcony or in the sitting area. Under the pergolas you will find the perfect spot to enjoy a BBQ with fresh local food, while in the large terraces you will linger with an evening cocktail with beautiful sunset. Superbe!

Great place! Afrathias, one of the last secret beach in south crete. The house is like new, and only some meters from the beach. Clean house, Full comfort, charming pergola and nice garden. The best place for relax. A little tavern a 100 meters away. Un super endroit ! afrathias, l'un des derniers endroits préservés et meconnu de crete. La maison est neuve propre et à quelques mètres seulement de la plage ! Grand confort avec une jolie pergola un beau jardin très bien entretenu. L'endroit idéal pour se relaxer. Une petite taverne à proximité.

About the neighborhood

The house is just a few minutes walk from the beach of Afratias, a beautiful natural beach and in a very quite area. The beach is mix with sand & pebbles, there are also big flagstones in the water and you can have a nice walk along the sea (about 25min) until the next village Kalamaki. From there the beach turns into a white sandy beach and you can walk along to Komos beach, which is one of the best beaches of Europe It is a natural beach, without houses, just with 2 taverns and a little hidden beach bar in the center of the beach. At our beach there is one small tavern, for coffee, snacks, salates and nice plates with typical Cretan food. We have also many other good taverns in our area, like in the village Kamilari (5min by car) you will
