If you want to enjoy skiing in one of the largest ski areas in Europe but not spend an absolute fortune then Les Coches could be just what you are looking for and our apartments put you right in the centre of the resort, by the shops, bars and ski lifts.<BR><BR>Les Coches is part of the La Plagne ski area which itself is linked to Les Arcs as the Paradiski area.<BR>Les Coches was developed in the 1980s but not as an impersonal concrete resort. Instead it uses traditional materials of wood and slate. It is within the tree line so looks attractive. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, hotplates and small combi microwave/oven. <BR>The bathroom has toilet, handbasin and bath with shower.<BR>There is underfloor heating plus convector heater.<BR><BR>There is a sofa bed that opens up to a full size double bed.<BR><BR>Duvet and pillows are provided (double duvet & sheet; english-style pillows, if you are bringing your own bed linen). <BR><BR>Cleaning equipment and products also provided so you don't need to bring washing up liquid or the like. <BR><BR>There is a lockable ski store within the building's ski room on the ground floor.<BR>

How to get there
CAR<BR>- All auto-route from Calais, approximately 10hrs including stops or split the journey with an overnight stop.<BR><BR>TRAIN<BR>- Eurostar direct to Bourg-St-Maurice during the ski season.<BR>- Eurostar to Paris then TGV via Chambery to Landry or Bourg.<BR>From Bourg you can take a train to Landry which is the station before Bourg in the valley then the navette up to the resort. Alternatively book a taxi from Bourg which will cost €40 - €50 and takes approx 25 minutes.<BR><BR>AIR<BR>- Chambery (1.75 hr)<BR>- Grenoble (2.5 hr)<BR>- Lyon (2.5 hr)<BR>- Geneva (2.5 hr)<BR>Transfer from the airport is easiest and probably cheapest by hiring a car.
