Verwandte kommen schon seit Jahren ins Paradix, für uns war es jetzt das zweite Mal. Wie der Name vermuten lässt, mit dem Öffnen des großen Tores der Anlage kommt man in ein Paradies, eine super gepflegte, grüne Ferienoase. Es gibt nur wenige Wohneinheiten, so dass man hier stets auf eine ganz persönliche und relaxte Atmosphäre trifft. Die Appartements sind modern und individuell eingerichtet, so dass man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Jede Einheit hat einen eigenen Außenbereich zum Essen, ganz schnell ist man aber auch im gemeinsamen großen Garten und dem schönen Pool (in einer Größe, die wirklich zum Schwimmen einlädt). Das Paradix „kuschelt“ sich direkt neben der historischen Kirche in den gemütlichen Ort, ohne dass man die Ortsnähe im Paradix merken würde. Alles was man zum Leben braucht, findet sich in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß. Alles in Allem ist das Paradix immer eine Reise wert!

I didn't intend to take so long to write this review, but life got in the way - apologies to Susanna! This is one of the lovliest places our family (two children and two adults) have ever stayed in. The owners, former architects from Britain and Switzerland, have sensitively and stylishly renovated and modernised this former vinter's complex in the village of Nissan. The apartments are bright, spotless, well-eqipped and styled with simple, bright Corbusier detailing. The pool is larger than most in holiday apartments and is crystal clear and lovely. The gardens are pretty and aromatic, and our children loved the cats and playing beach tennis etc in the gardens. The owners are very nice, and Susanna gave us a tour of the impressively restored main house, showing us before, during and after pics and explaining some of the history. the complex is located just a few minutes walk away from the village, which has bakeries, small shops and a market, and is within walking distance of the Canal du Midi and hills and meadows, allowing for some very pleasant cycling and hiking. Lots of good restaurants, plus Bezier, the coast and Montpelier all within a short drive. Everything was right here - we hope to go back!
