A beautiful old stone mill transformed into a 3 bed luxury holiday cottage, nestled in 13 acres of pasture and woods, only 3 miles from the fishing village and stunning beaches of Aberporth and 5 minute drive from the historic town of Cardigan. The farm was founded in the 1820's to make use of the natural spring to power a mill and dairy. Its sits in a sheltered spot with stunning views across the countryside, a private lake and lots of nooks and crannys to explore. The Stables itself is a traditional stone building with walls over 2ft thick and large slate flagstone floors. It has recently been converted to a high standard providing three bedrooms, (two doubles and one twin) a large farmhouse kitchen dining room and a stunning lounge. On arrival the cottage garden looked overgrown and neglected.We were disappointed because there was only 1 wardrobe for all bedrooms and the freezer could not be used as it is completely frozen.The whole farm looks "rundown" especially the farmhouse opposite and the area looks nothing...More
