This first floor apartment at The Old Post Office boasts a prime location in the heart of Aberporth: just grab your bucket and spade and walk onto the beach! The two sheltered Blue Flag sandy beaches of Aberporth make this seaside village one of Ceredigion's favourite holiday destinations. At low tide, rock pools are exposed and seals, dolphins and otters can often be seen close to shore. The coastal path passes just by The Two Penny Blue providing wonderful walks passing sandy beaches, towering cliffs and rocky headlands.

This group of apartments offer such a fabulous location to stay with the beach on your doorstep and glorious views from virtually all the windows. It also has a large balcony which provides fab views over the beach and Aberporth. The facilities included in the apartment are modern and extensive, you will not want for anything. We are looking forward to coming back soon and would recommend these apartments to all our friends. Sam the owner is also very tentative and helps make your stay special.

We stayed 6 nights in the Two Penny Blue and absolutely loved it. Communication with Sam in the run up was easy and fast. Lots of information on the website so knew exactly what to expect. The position is fantastic, really is just across the road from the beach, which is very clean, accessible and friendly. Fabulous people watching spot as you are right in the heart of things (not that Aberporth is noisy or busy) but just enough to keep us entertained. Loved the little walks round to see the boat memorial, round the beaches, etc. Apartment was immaculate, exactly as the photographs and has everything you will need. Aberporth itself lacks decent places to eat, apart from the little beach cafe that serves the best cooked breakfast ever, but does have the best ever farm shop at Golwg Y Mor, just on your way out to the main road with fantastic butchery, bakery, fruit, veg, dairy. Good food at the Ship at Tresaith. Highly reccomend.

A fantastically appointed apartment just moments from the sea. This is a lovely place to stay and we loved being here. The beach itself is small, friendly and has a lifeguard present. The village has a shop, pub and takeaways- everything you need for a holiday on the beach!

Fabulous apartment with everything you could possibly need - right over-looking the beach! Beautiful countryside and wildlife - weather was mixed when we were there but lovely cliff top walks, good pub meals (especially at the Ship at Tresaith). National coast areas such as Mwnt and Penbryn well worth seeing and Llangrannog (Had lunch at another Ship Inn!). Caridgan Farm Park worth visiting to see animals - good place for children and we saw very big seals there below the cliffs!

We have just returned from a week in beautiful West Wales at Two Penny Blue. From the moment we arrived we were very impressed by everything and our opinion stayed the same throughout the week. This apartment is beautiful, the owners have really thought of everything and it’s all of such a high standard. The sofas and bed were really comfortable and the bathrooms were impressive. The rainforest shower felt very luxurious every morning. I loved the kitchen and especially the red fridge! We were there for Christmas and managed easily to cook a full Christmas dinner with all the utensils and pans etc, very well stocked! My husband loved the wood burning fire the best, he spend ages making fire! The space is well laid out and feels big enough to have a family in or cosy enough for a couple. The little touches are what makes this place stand out; the funky decor, colour scheme, dimmer switch in the bathroom (for a relaxed bath), little LED lights at floor height in the kitchen, cute cushions on the sofa etc. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners, Sam and Jeff. They were very friendly and came to visit us, even resetting the wireless router on Christmas day so we could skype our family- now that’s service! We really appreciated the wine and milk in the fridge and little Christmas cakes for us on arrival, a lovely touch. It was great to see such well stocked cupboards with great crockery/mugs etc but also everything you could need to clean under the sink. The balcony was a lovely touch and the view of the beach was amazing. I loved listening to the sound of the waves, very relaxing and peaceful. The location is perfect, we loved the coastal walks and beaches and the little shop up the road was well stocked and very friendly too. We would return in a heartbeat and will recommend this place to all our friends.

Before we even arrived the service we received from Sam was excellent.Travelling from Spain meant that we arrived late but Sam arranged for us to conveniently pick up the keys and how wonderful to arrive and be able to make a cup of tea or have a glass of wine without having to go shopping! The apartment had everything you could possibly want and is maintained to a very high level. The area is a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle and all the people we came in contact with were very friendly. Well worth while discovering the rest of the coast and towns such as Cardigan, Narberth and, although a bit further away, St Davids is a must. All in all a perfect week.

We had a fantastice stay at the Two penny blue. The stadard of the property was very high and the location was great for the beach. The Pub next door was very welcoming as well as the great fish and chips from the chippie next door to it!

We had a lovely 3 nights at Two Penny Blue. It was my first trip to Wales and I'm really happy with the choice of accommodation. The apartment has a great outlook out over the beach and a great big balcony (1st floor). The interior of the apartment is stylish and comfortable. Sam was very welcoming and helpful with booking. There is so much to do around Aberporth. We did a few coastal walks and a boat trip at New Quay. I would highly recommend Two Penny Blue for a relaxing break!!

About the neighborhood
The two sheltered Blue Flag sandy beaches of Aberporth make this seaside village one of Ceredigion’s favourite holiday destinations. At low tide, rock pools are exposed and seals, dolphins and otters can often be seen close to shore. The coastal path passes just by The Old Post Office providing wonderful walks passing sandy beaches, towering cliffs and rocky headlands. With the village amenities within walking distance - including the local store, two pubs serving food and two takeaway restaurants - you need hardly leave Aberporth! However, with so many nearby places to visit you’ll be tempted: the area has numerous tourist attractions and the apartment’s central location allows for day trips exploring the rest of Cardigan Bay and Pembrokeshire. But no need to buy postcards: just take photos of the gorgeous views from the balcony and add ‘Wish you were here?’!
