Tiled hall leading to a delightful sitting room with a large L-shaped sofa (housing the sofa bed - the sofa bed is more suited to children or a single adult) and a Flat screen TV with a Freesat package and DVD Video. Stunning views from all the bay windows overlooking the sea, the beck, the valley and Mulgrave woods. French doors leading onto the front terrace. After getting an excellent deal and looking at the other reviews I decided to book a long weekend away to celebrate me and my partners anniversary at the Sands. Firstly, Chloe, who dealt with the booking was extremely helpfull before we even got there with excellent advice about where to eat locally as well as in Whitby. The cottage itself...

Could not fault the apartment or the location - it was perfect! The apartment was very clean, well equipped and cosy with lovely decor. We walked from Sandsend to Whitby bay on the beach and took a short drive to Staithes and Robin Hoods Bay. Sandsend also provides access to the the Mulgrave Estate and castle - another fantastic walk...
