Three self catering holiday cottages in two acre gardens with private river bank and outstanding views. Open fires, WiFi, private parking and RESIDENT OWNERS TO WELCOME YOU.


We offer the best of both worlds, clean, comfy, warm, well maintained , very well equipped cottages close to amenities but in an area of peace and tranquility.

We established our family business in1965 . The fact that we have such a high percentage of returning visitors is our highest recommendation. Sadly many are not able to come any longer, hence the vacancies.

We are assessed annually by Quality in Tourism and achieve 4 star rating with 100% for cleanliness. .

As we live on the site we are here to welcome you and show you around the cottage. Having been letting cottages in Reeth since 1965 we have lots of local knowledge. Many guests return year after year and have become good friends. We are always available for a chat but we respect your privacy and you are free to ignore us !

What a beautiful cottage in a great countryside as well. Kitchen diner and living room with door to garden which goes down to the river. The huge bed was quite hard which we love and very comfy with great duvet and overlooking the garden. Perfect....More

Reviwed Beechcroft last November,everything is great,it's the first time we've visited in July,we came specifically for the tour,it was awesome,what more could you need,lovely cottage all home comforts,swaledale at it's magnificent best and Le Tour.We watched from Grinton moor,fantastic views. About the neighborhood
Mountain bikes , with or without instruction, can be hired at the Bike Shop at Fremington. They also serve fantastic snacks and drinks. Richmond and Leyburn are each approx 10 miles away and are both worth a visit. Hawes is a bustling village at the head of Wensleydale .Barnard castle is a little further
There is lots to see and visit whatever your interest.
Getting around
Once in the village many people get about by foot or bike as walks and cycle rides are available straight fro the property

There are lots of interesting places to visit by car and there is a limited bus service up and down dale.

Airport: Durham Tees Valley: 20.5 mi
Railway: Darlington: 20.5 mi
From the A1M turn off for Richmond then take the road up Swaledale to Reeth. Go through Reeth and continue out of the village on the Gunnerside road. Just past the fire station, take the first left turn down Langhorne Drive. This road ends in a T junction, take the left side , proceed 200 metres and our cottages are on the right, well labelled.
