This was our first B&B in Scotland and the best one. The location is near the beach and close to Broadfort. The room is cute in decor and huge bathroom (bath and shower with excellent heavy pressure) is a great value for B&B. But most...More

The purple room is lovely. The bathroom is roomy. The setting is quiet and lovely. The view is girgeous when the tide is in and very intriguing when it is out. The breakfasts were catered to individual tastes. Possibly the best part was the breakfast...More

About the neighborhood
The semi-rural hamlet of Lower Breakish is a quiet crofting community where you have fabulous views across to the mainland and the islands of Scalpay and Pabay. Sheep and cows roam freely and you can sometimes see our local otter in the garden or swimming in the tidal inlet ajacent to the house and occasionally seals are spotted here with their young. There are coastal walks right on the doorstep one of which takes you right into the village of Broadford (about 3 miles). Broadford is the nearest town with all the amenities you need, a hospital with A & E, chemist, doctors surgery, supermarket, petrol station and a good range of restaurants and pubs, we will be happy to advise the best places to go.
Getting around
As some of the popular tourist spots on Skye are quite rural it is advisable to have the use of a car. Local buses are infrequent and sometimes unreliable depending what time of year you are here. There are some local tour companies which you will find on google.
