We have recently returned from another brilliant holiday at La Pepiniere after a 2 year Covid gap. It is the most relaxing place to stay and so very well equipped. It was extremely hot weather whilst we were there but the air conditioning and the pool made such a difference. We took advantage of the BBQ and every evening had our meal at the outside table under the shading - perfect. Loved the various lights!

Nice house in a superb peaceful location - everything you need in the house and if you want a peaceful holiday plenty of places to wander and things to do without need for a car. Interesting places to see within a short drive, and decent pool which keeps the children entertained all day, with english TV and plenty of games if the weather turns.

We returned to La Pepiniere for our fourth stay so it felt like going home. The house and all the flowering pots were as welcoming as ever. We did have a minor problem upon arrival but a message to Malcolm, the caretaker meant that it was sorted very efficiently and Jim, the owner, as always made contact to ensure that it had been dealt with. Every year, we consider the house perfect but changes are regularly made for improvement. All very satisfactory and once again, we had a brilliant two weeks of real relaxation. Homps is a great place to stay with a very good choice of restaurants and excellent entertainment watching the locks being navigated by novice crews! Needless to say, we have booked again for next year.

We stayed at this amazing villa with a wonderful swimming pool, the villa was so well equipped it caters for everyone, you dont need to even take towels if you dont want to and there was a lovely welcoming basket with some nice treats. There were 6 of us but plenty of room to spread out and have our own space if needed. We went to visit a small village called Minerve this was wonderful hearing about the history and walking around the village. The owner is extremely helpful and will answer any questions that you may have, plus ther is an informatin book at the villa which is really helpful. I cant praise this place high enough and within walking distance of bars, restaurants and a small supermarket at the garage.

This was our second visit and we have booked our third, which says it all. The house and pool are really good as are the equipment and facilities. Homps on th Canal du midi is a wonderful location and there are great, good value restaurants and wine producers locally. If you are a cyclist there is the flat or mountains to chose from.

Perfect location ,excellent villa with everything we needed ,our party included grandparents teenage boys 10 year old girl ,eight in all! Swimming pool was first class many evenings spent walking to local restaurants on the canal du midi 7 minute walk away . Local amenities were very adequate ,croissants every morning just a walk away!

The villa is in a pretty little village on the canal de midi. Which is only 5 minutes walk away, where you'll find at least 6 or 7 places to eat (we tried & loved a few!) The best thing was visiting the local market in Olonzac (Tuesdays) and having a BBQ or two in the garden with the fairy lights. The villa has everything you'll need and more. Its clean, tidy, spacious & has a fabulous pool. We stayed in June, it was quite hot which meant the aircon was very much appreciated. Carcassonne airport is less than 40mins away as well as Carcassonne's old city & castle which is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. I look forward to going back next year and feeling just as relaxed.

We just love this house and the very relaxing holiday it provides. Next year is already booked as we not only enjoy the house but the location is perfect for us. I have done a previous review and mentioned that a hand rail would be useful on the stairs. This was fitted very promptly and is typical of the couple owning the property that they want to make the house as good as possible for their guests. There is now a sound bar installed, an extra from last year and a great asset to those who understand such things! When we were there 2 weeks ago, it was very hot indeed so we much appreciated the air conditioning and now consider it essential. Do visit the local restaurants, an excellent variety for a village and we have tried and enjoyed nearly all of them. The local garage provides every day essentials and the Casino supermarket in Olonzac is excellent as is the Tuesday market. Visits to Mon Brico (on the Casino site) have also become a 'must' The cleaning and pool care are done by Malcolm and his wife and they do an excellent job also coming at the middle weekend to clean and to change the sheets and towels if required. Again, we love the place and the holiday that it provides.

The house is presented to a very high standard throughout with every amenity we needed and spotlessly clean. The pool is a great size for swimming or playing and there is plenty of space for relaxing in or out of the sun. A nice little town with lots of places to eat and well-placed to get out into a really interesting area. Can't wait to return

The house is wonderful and maintained to a very high standard by the owners who have thought of everything that you need for the perfect holiday house. The village has 7 restaurants, 3 wine shops and a small supermarket all within a short walking distance of the property.
