Maki is a very attentive host, was available before and during our stay and was extremely helpful. The apartment is conveniently located on the Yamanote line. It was very comfy and provided everything we needed for our time in Tokyo. Thanks Maki!

L'appartement est lumineux, la vue est dégagée, c'est un atout dans Tokyo. Il est très bien situé, à 3mn seulement de la Yamanote line, dans un quartier qui mérite qu'on le découvre. Maki a été attentif à nous faire profiter de ce qui pouvait nous intéresser à Tokyo. Il nous a fourni ce qui pouvait nous manquer dans l'appartement bien que des améliorations sont sans doute possibles en ce qui concerne le confort et l'équipement. C'est un très bon endroit pour rayonner dans Tokyo.

We were four people and spent 5 days in Tokyo. Maki's appartment was perfect für us because of its location very close to the Yanamote line. Using the Yanamote line we were able to easily and quickly move around in Tokyo. The area where the appartment is is called Komagome and we really loved the neighbourhood. Nearby is a little street full of small restaurants where you can get a full sample of Japanese, Chinese, Indian and Italian food. In this neighbourhood we saw only few other tourists so the food was really good and the prices were ok (its Tokyo nevertheless). Supermarkets and a litte shopping street are nearby. We visited one of the gardens close to the appartment and it was one of the finest gardens we vistited on our whole trip and less crowded than other gardens. The appartment is very quiet. We were able to sleep very good. It is clean and we missed nothing in the equipment. A bonus was the mobile WiFi. that was in the appartment which turned out very useful for us and saved us all the hassle to organize a domestic sim card. Maki is a very friendly host and he speaks very good english. I can really recommend this appartment.

Our family of 4 adults was so happy we chose Maki’s apartment to stay in. Komagome was a nice peaceful area to wake up in, and only minutes to the JR Yamamoto Line. 7-11 convenience store just down the block with great variety of food and the best chicken karaage! The apartment fit the 4 of us snuggly, yet still able to have ample privacy between all the rooms when needed. It came well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Maki is an excellent host, and went above and beyond what we ever expected. He helped us arrange our large luggage’s to be shipped to our next hotel in Kyoto! He responded within hours to all my emails and questions. I asked Maki where I could find a company to deliver our luggage. Conveniently there Global-Yamato delivery company right next to apartments on the street level. Maki very kindly took the initiative to and pick up the needed order forms, filled them out in Japanese for us, spoke to the shipping company of our needs( they did not understand English), and even called the hotel in Kyoto to notify them of our luggage delivery. He dropped off the completed forms to the apartment, so all we had to do when we left was to bring the luggages with the completed forms to the business front next door and pay the yens( about 2000 yens per large luggage). Saved us from having to haul all our large luggage’s to the various trains/stations during commute times at both Tokyo and after arriving in Kyoto. Great experience in Komagome, loved the gardens too!

Очень удобное местоположение, на кольцевой зелёной ж/д ветке. Если есть JR pass, не нужно покупать билет. Рядом с апартаментами много супермаркетов и кафе.

Nice area, close to the JR Yamanote line. There is currently a problem of building management, therefore we have experienced a lack of cleaning and garbage removal issue. Hope the problem will soon be solved. No luck either with the noise due to the work on the building facing the balcony: mechanic hammer starting around 8.30am. In the apartment, we would have appreciated a protection between the mattress etthe under bed sheet.

An authentic Tokyo apartment in a great location. The Yamanote line was less than a 5 minute walk and there were so many great restaurants in easy walking distance in the local Komagome area. My whole family fell in love with the Komagome area and the ease to get to the rest of Tokyo was amazing. Maki sent us a great instruction document before we got there with instructions on getting to the apartment and listing area attractions and points of interest. The provided wifi device was also very useful. I would definitely book this place again.

5 minute pleasant Walk to the station with beautiful peaceful parks nearby. Numerous quaint eating places as well. The apartment was comfortable for the two of us. We definitely prefer this apartment to the major hotels in Tokyo.

We had an excellent stay at Maki’s apartment. Our criteria for choosing a place was that it had to be very close to a subway or JR station that connects easily to a range of tourist locations and should have enough reasonably priced places to eat, and this location was exactly that. Neighborhood was nice and quiet at night and good for our family of 3. The apartment had all required amenities in perfect working order and the bedding was cozy. A little bit tight on space for 3 but we managed even with our luggage on the floor. Instructions for everything, from getting to the apartment to segregating the garbage were clear. This was very good value, as we found other popular locations like Shinjuku and Shibuya too expensive for a party of more than 2. I highly recommend that you pick this place instead and you can spend the money you saved on other things!

The apartment is located a few minutes from the station exactly as it was written in the detailed explanation sheets we received prior to arrival. We arrived at 4 girls with 4 medium-sized suitcases and still found the apartment comfortable to sleep for laundry as well as the breakfast we prepared from the groceries we bought in the neighborhood. The apartment can be very suitable for a couple so that one of the rooms is also used for the living room and not just for sleeping. The house was clean when we arrived and was equipped with a vacuum cleaner and cleaning materials. Everything was very easy to use. Maki the owner answered all the questions we asked through the mail box, which made the stay very pleasant.
