San Javier
The apartment which is eight years old and has all mod cons is located on the edge of San Javier which is a medium sized Spanish town just 10 minutes from Murcia airport and 45 minutes from Alicante airport. The town has all the modern services you will require including a large shopping centre called Dos Mares which is only 5 minutes away by car. The area is predominately Spanish and very much family orientated with the large number of properties owned by business people from Madrid. Number 27 is a ground floor bungalow in a gated secure complex of 44 properties two high and built around a swimming pool. There is a large pool and shallow children's pool 15 steps from our front patio. This 2 bedroom, ground floor apartment has a large balcony which leads directly to the pool area of this quiet, family friendly complex. Perfect for families, there are a number of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. There is also the local park, Parque Almansa, with its outdoor auditorium used for evening concerts. Only 10 minutes drive from Murcia/San Javier airport, the beaches of the Mar Menor are less than 10 minutes drive, or a comfortable 30-40 minute walk away. There is a regular bus service to the beach and to the cities of Alicante, Cartagena and Murcia itself. I would definitely recommend this accommodation for a holiday in a real Spanish town which can be as busy, sociable or relaxing as you choose to make it.

However shopping complexes generally remain open from 9.00am until 10.00pm.<BR>There is an Iceland an Aldi and a Maxi Dia% supermarket within a five minute walk from the apartment. How to get there
<BR>Murica Airport is five minutes away and Alacante 45 minutes using the motorway which is a direct route to San Javier. Although a car is not necessary if you want to travel to the beautiful cities of Cartagena and Murica a car would be very useful.
