The cottage is very near the Foyle ferry and gives a great base for exploring Inishowen. The owner Pat couldn’t be more warm or helpful and the cottage was an excellent place for our holiday.

This is a comfortable, well equipped apartment, well situated for touring this beautiful area of Inishowen. It is close to the village of Greencastle anda few minutes drive from Moville where there are are shops and restaurants. The owner, Pat, was welcoming and helpful. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone coming to stay in this lovely area.

We found this an idyllic location for our first visit to Ireland. The accommodation was conveniently located with lovely views, with shops and bars nearby and a short stroll to the harbour and ferry. The house was well furnished and comfortable with everything we needed for our stay.

This semi detached cottage is a gem. The owner is incredibly helpful, lives nearby and is always contactable. He is a fount of local knowledge and is always ready to advise and recommend. The cottage is on the hill behind Greencastle and has a beautiful view over Lough Foyle to Magilligan Strand on the Northern Ireland side. Moville is just a few minutes away and, beyond that, about 45 minutes drive, is the City of Derry. Outside the holiday season the owner lives in this cottage so it is full of all mod-cons, personal items and homely touches. It is perfect for a retired couple like ourselves but might not suit a young family. With that caveat, I have no hesitation in recommending this for a gentle, quiet and peaceful holiday in this beautiful part of Ireland.
