About the neighborhood
Gioia del Colle near Bari is set on the Murgia, 365 meters above sea level. Note throughout Italy for delicious mozzarella cheese and dairy products. It is just over 20km from Alberobello, more or less 35 to 40 Matera and Bari. It stands out for its grandeur the Norman Castle, now houses the National Archaeological Museum, where you can admire precious archaeological finds. The village is a maze of narrow streets and squares, it still opens the characteristic arches of Byzantine origin. A few kilometers from the town, the Archaeological Park of Monte Sannace is the largest inhabited peucetico known.
