Mix perfetto

Dimenticavo due cose importanti...........LA PULIZIA...... quasi maniacale, sembrava fossimo i primi ad abitarci, mentre per gli amanti della brace c'è un barbecue attrezzato nel giardino davanti all'abitazione ma sopratutto ..........mai visto prima, ce n'è uno bellissimo nella zona piscina dove tra un bagno e l'altro si può mangiare alla brace.

Fantastic holiday home

We stayed in Francesca 2 for the second week of our holiday after traveling down from Lake Garda. Alessandro, the owner, came down to meet us at the main road and guided us up to the property on top of the hill. We were instantly made to feel very welcome. The building itself is beautiful and so well looked after. Francecsa 2 is the middle holiday home of 3 with a lovely entrance that opens out onto a garden. The apartment itself is really quite stunning, split over 4 floors, it has a wonderful mix of traditional Tuscan features and all the mod-cons you could ask for. The wi-fi was better than at home and you could get it everywhere... even by the pool. The apartment is huge, lots of space for a family. The lounge was comfortable with enough seats for all four of us. The kitchen is beautiful and has everything you could ever need, as well as a very convenient utility room with a washing machine. The bedrooms were lovely, very spacious with the most beautiful Tuscan roof tiles and views out over the rolling hills. I could quite happily wake up to it EVERY morning! The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of storage for all our 'stuff'. One of the highlights for us was the stunning pool area. The view from there is to die for. It is a tiered garden with the pool at the bottom. it was perfect for our two boys who were quite happy playing in the pool then chilling on their sun beds. If there hadn't have been so much to see and do in the area, we could have quite happily spent the whole week in this lovely little sun trap. My personal favorite in the garden was the open air, traditional Tuscan BBQ and the terrace where you could cook and eat and appreciate the views over the countryside. We BBQ'ed almost every night whilst sitting there, sipping our wine, taking in the surroundings. Even now it gives me tingles as I think about it! The property has plenty of parking in the Orchard which is right next to the building and there's shops not far away, plus a supermarket in Camaoire village. One place we would definitely recommend is Lucca. We fell in love with the place. It's only 20 minutes away, as is the beach, so you can have the best of both worlds. We would thoroughly recommend Francesca 2 (or any of Alessandro and Francesca's holiday homes). I can honestly say I've never stayed anywhere so spotlessly clean and tidy. You would have thought it had never been stayed in. If you're looking for a lovely location and a great holiday home, look no further. We'll definitely be going back!
