With much of the area managed by the National Trust,there are some spectacular walking routes nearby to include the Padley Gorge,Haywood and the Longshaw Estate. Take a walk into the village for a delicious pub lunch at Sir William or to pick up your groceries for your stay.  The cottage is set back from the road on a hill with views over the valley. Up the well lit steps through the front garden,the main entrance leads into a welcoming hall,the perfect place to store your coats and boats. The two bedrooms are located on the first floor. The master bedrooms has an impressive king sized sleigh bed,colourfully wallpapered feature wall,wooden floorboards and pretty curtains. The second bedroom also has a double bed and enjoys views over the garden,while a folding bed can easily be erected in either room. The rooms share a recently refurbished bathroom,with elegant corner bath,separate shower cubicle and floor to ceiling stone tiling. At the rear of the cottage is a courtyard and summer house,perfect for BBQs enjoyed at the low stone table. There is a further stone walled courtyard,which enjoys sun for most of the day,along with a lawned garden with patio sitting area. More
