Uniquely positioned on a quiet residential street which leads from St Helen's Village Green via Mill Lane to the sea. From the bottom of the lane turn left at the Old Mill and walk across the Duver to St Helens beach and sample the menu at Baywatch cafe; or turn right to Bembridge Marina and the village, or more beaches and wooded walks.
Priory Bay and Seaview may also be reached on foot along the coast.
At the top of the road is a traditional English Village Green boasting two excellent restaurants, children's play area, post office, general store, bus stop and, of course, the village pub.

The apartment itself, is comfortably refurbished , child friendly, and is the perfect place to relax after the day's adventures.

Thank you very much for the review. I have to regretfully agree that the parking situation has become more difficult and realistically, at least in the main holiday season, it is best not to rely on parking immediately outside but to drop off luggage etc...More

Min 2 days applies to weekends only - otherwise 3. Check with owner additional night may be free out of season. Linen will be charged at £34 for up to 2 people and & £12 per person thereafter but guests may prefer to bring their own. Cot and high chair available no extra charge.

Arrival days are generally flexible but weekly bookings are from Saturday to Saturday in the high season. Arrival after 4pm, departure by 10.am but may be varied on request.

Please ask about rental of adjoining 1 bedroom apartment at discounted rate. Recommended for holidays for two family groups. Together sleep 8.

The owner reserves the right to change the rates at any time before a booking agreement is made.

About the neighborhood
St Helen’s Duver (a sandy dune area of coastline) and the shoreline around the area are noted for their extraordinary variety of maritime plants and wildlife, and much of the coastline in the immediate vicinity is under the care of the national Trust. Nevertheless there are many child-friendly sandy beaches which are relatively quiet all the year round. The larger resorts of Ryde, Shanklin and Sandown are only a short drive or bus trip away.

The historic village green, one of the largest in existence, is bordered by picturesque cottages, and all village amenities including two restaurants, a selection of shops, a bus stop, children’s play area and the village pub.

There are up to 350 ferry crossings a day to the Isle of Wight. The most convenient car ferries from Southampton to East Cowes or Portsmouth to Fishbourne. The passenger ferries are from Portsmouth to Ryde or Southampton to West Cowes and onwards by bus. Online booking tends to be cheaper.
