About the neighborhood
Pollença, is without any doubt one of the most attractive municipalities of the Island. It was one of the areas where tourism first started, being the preferred destination of painters and artists since the beginning of the century. Pollença is full of contrasts because a large part of the "Serra de Tramuntana” is situated within its municipality. With its steep mountains and its deep valleys, which in many cases end in most beautiful and lonely bays, where the blue of the sea merges with the grey of the limestone rocks and the brilliant green of the pine trees. Here the cultural and artistic life never stops. There are a lot of art galleries and beautiful handicraft shops.
Getting around
There's the central bust stop opened early 2018 newly built and relocated just 500 meters or 7 minutes’ walk from Villa Alexia. It goes to Pollença, Palma, Formentor, Alcudia and many other places. we are very lucky to have this wonderful service so close to us!
However, Mallorca is overall a very beautiful Island with lots of places to visit. I would always recommend hiring a car as there is so much to see and explore.

Getting to Pollença and Port de Pollença from Palma airport (PMI) by taxi transfer or hire car is a relatively easy drive of about 50 minutes. Public transport can take considerably longer. Port de Pollença is on the north coast of Mallorca and is roughly 65km/40miles from Palma airport.
