Stayed in this villa in July 17 for 11 nights. Group of 12 ranging in age from 56 to 6. Villa has everything that you could want with the exception of the most important thing during the hot summer ... Air Conditioning. The facilities state that there is air conditioning but this is not quite true. It was only in one bedroom and one bathroom. The other bedrooms had plug in electric fans that did not in any way cool the rooms. The rooms were unbearably hot at night and every night at least 3 people slept on the couches in the sitting room as it was the 2nd coolest place in the house. The last night of our stay 7 people slept on mattresses in the one room that had air conditioning. Luckily for them, they were kept so cold they needed blankets while the other 5 couldn't sleep with the heat. There is also no Wifi in the villa. This was a bit of an issue for the younger members but one that did not impact the holiday.
The pool is great and well protected with the fence and was cleaned daily. There is also great off road parking and we felt very secure. Any issues we had were dealt with quickly with the exception of the BBQ. It is a gas BBQ and no gas had been provided. When I asked about gas, I was told to bring the barrel to the nearest garage and buy a full one. It was not worth our while to buy gas for the 2-3 occasions we planned on using it. We felt that for the price we paid, the owner should have made sure there was sufficient gas for our stay.
On a positive note, the owner was very quick to repay the security deposit. All in all I would recommend this villa if you're looking for a peaceful holiday in the cooler months of the year but unfortunately without air conditioning would not recommend for the months of July/August.
