Located in Elne, once the historical capital of the region (replaced by Perpignan), in the old town there are lovely evening strolls, a choice of bakeries and a local market held every second day (large Friday market) Large enough to provide shopping amenities, there is also a choice of good restaurants and a few local bars/cafes.
How to get there
Ryanair fly into perpignan ( 20 minutes from property), Girona (1.5 hours drive or 'Frog Bus' connection) and Carcasonne (rail connection). Aer Lingus also fly into Perpignan.
