Camuslongart Cottage is a charming detached stone cottage positioned right on the shores of Loch Long in the beautiful West Highlands. From the sun lounge that runs along the front elevation there are absolutely stunning views over the loch to the mountains of Kintail and a glimpse of the fairytale castle of Eilean Donan. The resident otter is very likely to put in an appearance .The cottage has an inner lounge with stone wall and a wood burning stove. All three bedrooms are well presented in a traditional cottage style, each with their own wash basins. The kitchen is small but well equipped and there is a modern bathroom on the ground floor. This was our second visit for a winter break on the shores of Loch Long. Camuslongart Cottage is a winner, with a view from the cosy sun-room across the loch to Eilan Donan castle. You can sit and sip your morning coffee watching herons, geese...More

In the town of Kyle of Lochalsh there is a co-op supermarket, an excellent chemist, doctors surgery and vet From the shores of Lochalsh the road heads north to Wester Ross, passing Attadale Gardens and Lochcarron pottery ,the unique and lovely Applecross Peninsula and the magnificent mountains of Torridon lie beyond. This is arguably the most spectacular part of Scotland’s west coast and is a dream for walkers and climbers. The drive to Applecross will be memorable and the seafood available there is second to none.
