Tastefully decorated in a charmingly eclectic style. Our cabins have mini-fridge and coffee-making facilities. Personal hygiene products, white towels, sheets, many pillows, comforter, and duvet are provided. Air conditioning and fans are at your disposal in the rooms.
We conceived this place for our guests to live fully in touch with nature in a luxury environment, so that we have all the services to satisfy your comfort needs when you want to enjoy a good relaxing and restful vacation.
An infinite number of possibilities designed for each palate prepared with traditional to ancestral wood-fired cooking methods are possible. Our creative private chef has a vast knowledge of local and international cuisine.
A brief form received when booking allows you to create an experience tailored to your needs. From breakfast to each daily activity, the Mont Carpe Diem experience is designed by you and turned into reality personally by our family team.
To guarantee the availability of the ingredients needed for your meals, make sure to send your forms at least 24 hours in advance.
We try to gather eggs, fruits, and aromatic herbs, on our premises daily, purchasing whatever we can't grow right before your stay thus guaranteeing a delicious and healthy table full of fresh, home-cooked dishes.
The restaurant service is only for guests. For this reason, it is not possible to have all the ingredients on hand here. Due to the reduced number of guests in our concept of privacy, we only make purchases based on guest selections. In addition to guaranteeing only organic and fresh foods.
-We serve Breakfast until 10:00 a.m. Lunch until 3:00 p.m. & dinner until 9:00 p.m.
DURING YOUR STAY:
You are welcome to enjoy your rented cabin & the open-air spaces. At the Main House terrace, you will be invited to enjoy your meals. Please note our closing times in the menu forms when you fill them out.
However, we kindly ask you not to make permanent use of our main household as a place to relax. As we are constantly working to satisfy all the needs of our guests, even before their arrival, we do need the occasional moment of privacy in our home to rest.
If there is anything you would like to let us know, please feel free to do so. It is a great pleasure for us to meet all your needs during your stay and in advance.

Then we will accompany you with your luggage to the cabin where you will stay in total privacy, being on the grounds of the 21-acres property, apart from the main house.
It will be a great pleasure for us to assist you at all times, make you feel at home and ensure that your stay is an unforgettable experience.
Price Includes Welcome Cocktail, breakfast, taxes & WiFi in the main house. There is NO WIFI in our cabins.
Just simply AMAZING. The service, ambiance, food, animals, everything was SUPERB. We’re so glad we picked this spot to spend our second honeymoon week. It’s definitely a magical place. Yohandra & Pedro are wonderful!!! Beyond our expectations. Will definitely be back soon!

Un pedacito de paraíso
Si hay algún lugar del que nunca te olvidarás, es Mont Carpe Diem. Aún nos preguntamos cómo encontramos ese paraíso de lugar, o quizás, fue el lugar el que nos eligió a nosotros.
Se localiza a unos 30 km del Viejo San Juan, en la montaña, a unos 500 metros de altitud. Ofrecen transfer gratuito al puerto o al aeropuerto.
Se compone de un edificio principal, donde se sirven las comidas y es el domicilio habitual de los propietarios; y dos cabañas totalmente independientes. Así pues, el máximo de huéspedes es de 4 personas, dos por cabaña.
Las cabañas se equipan con
aire acondicionado, ducha y wc independientes, una nevera pequeña y una cama grande y muy cómoda. Como colofón tiene un ventanal supergrande que da a un paisaje de vegetación frondosa, naturaleza pura.
Ofrecen una piscina al aire libre donde bañarte y tomar el sol con pavos reales paseando por los alrededores, todo un privilegio. En la zona de la piscina tiene bar con autoservicio de bebidas y barbacoa.
El precio es moderado para lo que se estila en San Juan. Nosotros pagamos 465 euros diarios por 3 personas (hicieron una excepción, pues las cabañas eran para dos ), con desayuno incluido, un precio normal para San Juan de Puerto Rico.
La propiedad es inmensa, todo un bosque a nuestra disposición, con pajaros cantando continuamente y ranas coqui acompañandonos sin cesar. Posee un estanque con carpas y una edificación para poder sentarte a relajarte o echarte una siesta en una cama que tiene en la planta superior.
Para desplazarse utilizan un vehículo que siempre está disponible, y Pedro, nuestro anfitrión nos lleva a la cabaña , al estanque, o simplemente nos pasea para recoger los huevos de las gallinas.
A todo ello (y lo más importante) debemos sumar el calor y el afecto que nos brindaron nuestros anfitriones. Personas simpáticas, agradables, educadas que nos hicieron pasar veladas inolvidables. Tanto Pedro, artista (gran pintor) y buen conversador, como Johandra, simpática y muy buena cocinera, como nuestra abuela del Caribe, Xiomara, una persona dulce y entrañable donde las haya. Esta familia de origen cubano nos hicieron pasar muy buenos momentos...incluso vivimos una tarde hablando de la Feria de Sevilla, con música de sevillanas incluidas, y hasta pasamos juntos el terremoto de 6'4 que sufrió la isla en esos días. Siempre los recordaremos.
En cuanto a la comida, puedes pedir lo que quieras porque todo se cocina en el momento y con ingredientes frescos Antes de llegar nos enviaron un email donde nos ofrecían los platos que cocinan, e hicimos un planning de los almuerzos y cenas de los tres días que estuvimos, todo con precios moderados, la carne a la parrilla y el cordero estuvieron exquisitos.
El desayuno se incluye en el precio, pero también te dan a elegir entre tus preferencias, recomiendo la fruta y los huevos revueltos que cocina Xiomara.
En resumen, pasamos los mejores tres días de nuestras vacaciones gracias a nuestra nueva familia cubana de Puerto Rico en su paraíso, de los cuales nos queda una hermosa amistad y mucho cariño.

Best place ever
Yohandra, Pedro and Xiomara, I don’t have enough words to thanks all the great service I had during my 40th bday weekend. Mont Carpe Diem is an experience everybody should have. Is not only the excellent place and food, is having a great family spend time and experiences with you. This is a peaceful place to repeat. I really appreciate every minute and recommend it 100%

Paradise in PR
This was our fourth visit to paradise. Such an experience! Prep work for your arrival includes questionnaires on what you want to eat, what you may be allergic to, what time of day you want to have breakfast {included in the rate and awesome), lunch and dinner. The super personal experience ensures your utmost satisfaction, both at room and at lunch. They even ask for your preferred music so the iPad is properly loaded in your room. Hiking trails, forest, birds all around, and in the nights, coqui sounds. This is the best place to spend a few nights in the island!

Mágico lugar para vacacionar en pareja!!
La mejor escapa que nos hemos dado aquí en nuestra isla Puerto Rico!! Buscando lugares para celebrar nuestro aniversario #4 encontramos al Hotel Mont Carpe Diem un lugar mágico, exquisito en todos los sentidos, platos frescos que diariamente se confeccionan con el mejor sazón que existe...el amor, un servicio de 5 estrellas, el equipo de trabajo que está pendiente al más mínimo detalle para que tu estadía sea simplemente única y memorable!!!! You need to do this!
The setting is amazing, incredible, beautiful, unique, peaceful.... but words cant describe it. Added to that is the unbeatable, charming, personalized service and food that is provided. It was getaway of a lifetime! Sure hope to do it again soon. I would recommend to everyone!

A secluded piece of Paradise
We were looking for a place to stay far away from noise, traffic, stress, and we found it! Up in the mountains of Bayamón a secluded piece of Paradise, nested among the hills, where you can feel peace, relaxation, renovation. Where you are in harmony with Nature. Wake up with the song of the birds and sleep at the rhythm of the coquies. The villages are luxurious. The food is exquisite. And the personal attentions from Pedro and Yohandra make you feel very special. No detail is lost. Give it a try!

Amazing journey!
Words like Magical, Peaceful, Romantic, Oasis, Culinary experience, and Amazing just begin to scratch the wonderful surface of this exotic hidden gem! The truth is the Heart and Soul of Mont Carpe Diem not only stems from the colorful beauty of the grounds and the majestic strolls of the precious wildlife around you, but from the spectacular hosts that greet you at their door, Pedro and Yohandra, who make you feel like their home is your own escape. A wonderful hideaway of peace and tranquility
Mont Carpe Diem is one of those places that you can only conjure up in your mind until you make it there. Nestled between mountains, greenery, and pure unadulterated nature, your stay in this paradise will be nothing short of amazing. Our hosts, Yohandra and Pedro, made our weekend escape a memorable one, thinking of every detail not only within the cabins, but also in the always fresh and organic menus and the property as a whole.
