At Ta Mill, we are offering the option to hire the site Hot Tub or Swim Spa for private sessions. The Vita Hot Tub is situated in a private setting, unusually surrounded by the original stone walling of the waterwheel pit. Climb down into the inviting Hot Tub which is sat on a steel grid above the fantastic vertical walls where a working waterwheel once belonged. Be amazed at the beautiful example of local craftmenship from ages past which is lit up below you or look above at the changing scenes as clouds drift by or marvel at the sky at night. The Swim Spa gives you the option to do some swimming against the never ending current or relax in the massage chairs.- see website for terms and conditions. (Sorry children under 12 years not admissible in hot tub but welcome to use Swim Spa with adult supervision)
We are now an APPROVED WEDDING VENUE and you can hire the site exclusively if you have at least 30 friends and family who want 2 or 3 nights away- Please enquire about venue hire rates.

Thank you so much for a lovely stay at Ta Mill! Nothing was too much trouble for Helen and her staff. She even let me borrow her wellies when the heavens opened! It’s a shame the weather was so dreadful for our stay, but we still had a really warm welcome from the moment we arrived! The hot tub was a lovely treat and gardens and countryside surrounding the cottages really beautiful.
If I stayed again, I would probably like to stay in one of the larger stone cottages rather than the chalet type ones, but I would still definitely recommend the place for a visit!!

About the neighborhood
We are in a secluded rural valley in North Cornwall away from all the crowds. Enjoy a glass or 2 on your veranda or patio and absorb the natural ambience or peace and tranquility. We are only 15 minutes from the North Cornish coastline with fabulous places to visit such as Boscastle, Port Isaac, Tintagel with the legendary castle or Padstow. Alternatively you could explore the rugged tors of Bodmin Moor only 4 miles away. There are plentiful national trust houses and gardens to visit and the EDEN project is only 45 minutes away. A central location for visiting Devon and Cornwall, Ta Mill is your perfect holiday destination.
Getting around
Part of the appeal of Ta Mill is the fact that is a secluded rural hideaway. We are surrounded by countryside but only 15 minutes from the North Cornish coast. Public transport is not convenient in the vicinity of Ta Mill so we do advise hiring a car if you intend to arrive by train or plane.

How to get there
Exit the M5 just after Exeter and join the A30 towards Okehampton. Continue on this dual carriageway for approx. 45 miles until you pass Launceston. When you see signs for Launceston, look out for the exit onto the A395, signpost Camelford and North Cornwall. Ta Mill is signed off the A395. Nearest train station is Bodmin Parkway but Exeter St Davids is the best option. Newquay airport is 45 minutes away. We recommend hiring a car if you are staying in Cornwall.
