The owners are on hand to give you personalized service including pre-provisioning, sourcing additional staff such as a chef or babysitter, rental vehicles and can help with planning any sort of outing your group may be interested in.
The house was built by the current owners and is refurbished frequently to ensure the highest standards are maintained.

Smoking only permitted in the open spaces, not in the bedrooms. We have a fence for the pool if you have non swimming members in your party if you feel there may be a safety issue
We stayed at Carib House during the first two weeks in October and had the best time, although we did get hit by a tropical storm which caused quite a bit of damage locally.
The house is great and suitable for large or small groups with all of the bedrooms screened for mosquitoes. The outdoor area is exceptional with a pool larger than some hotels I have stayed at, and the view is a real treat overlooking Turtle Bay which feels like your own private beach.
Lou is the best host you could ever ask for and goes way beyond anything I have ever experienced including doing shopping before we arrived and constant advice throughout our trip as to where to eat, given the fact we were off season, visit and what trips to do. In addition to this, the housekeeper, Mirella, is an angel and was available to us every day if we so wished.
Carib House is located at the end of a dirt track and 4WD cars are recommended but anyone who has driven in Antigua before will know you need one anyway!

Thank you for an amazing stay
We landed on the island with a place to stay, it was a nightmare. Thank god for Lou having availability between renters for us to switch our booking to her house. Carib house is perfect for multi generation families. There are ample areas for privacy, a top notch kitchen, solid AC (we barely turned on as night breeze is amazing). We were able to hit beaches on the west coast, north coast and east coast so location is perfect if you want to see the whole island. Lou had great recos for places to eat. Our favorite dinner was at catherines cafe at 5pm while the kids swam in the ocean in front of us. She was spot on that pillars is not great food, but amazing atmosphere. We still kept the reservation i booked before arrival even with her warning and it was the least impressive meal, but the atmosphere was memorable. So trust her advice as its on point. Pool was perfect for us, tons of space to lounge. WIFI was high speed, which is not the norm on island. We had a wonderful experience and am grateful .

Fantastic Villa and host

Great stay at Carib House
We had an amazing 2 week stay at Carib House with 3 generations of family.
Ahead of arrival Lou was kind enough to sort all the baby gear needed - fence around terrace to make the pool safe, crib, high chair etc etc.
We felt completely relaxed and looked after during our stay, Lou left us to chill out but came over immediately whenever we needed anything. She was super chilled and nothing was too much of an ask.
Lou’s recommendations on chefs for the house were great, plus all the local knowledge was hugely appreciated.
Really recommend this villa for a large group that wants to stay together but also enjoy personal space - there’s loads of areas to chill out and also all the communal spaces you’d expect from a house of this calibre.
Highly recommend and will be visiting again.

This is the perfect retreat from the tensions and stress that swirl around us.
This is our second stay at Carib house, and we have already booked for 2020. The house is sited for gorgeous views, the pool is private and the incredible care the owners provide gives their guests a wonderful carefree stay. My best suggestion for future guests is hire the chef Jonti to make your celebration dinner! Thank you Lou & Jon for another marvelous vacation!

What we wanted and more
We loved Carib House and would recommend it to anyone. The house is large and fully equipped with plenty of areas to relax inside and out. The views are amazing and the pool is gorgeous. Lou came by daily and answered all of our silly questions and made wonderful suggestions for beaches, day trips and dining. We hope to return!

This place is amazing. The house alone is great for groups, with 3 separate living quarters and an entire open air layout. It has perfect privacy, stunning views and is great for entertaining. But more than that, Lou (the host) is better than any hotel I've ever stayed in. I would go back just for her. She made us feel at home, gave us our space, and anticipated our every need and made sure to arrange for it. She was the best part of the house, and we absolutely loved the house so that's saying something! We cannot wait to go back and cannot thank Lou enough for such a lovely vacation!

Beautiful setting, house and pool
The wonderful house and setting were only eclipsed by how great the owners, staff, chef and chauffeur are. Any problems were addressed with as much speed and diligence as met the need. The chef was incredible at meeting our various dietary restrictions and presenting gorgeous food that was a foodie’s dream come true. The pool was a morning delight before going exploring. Any family will find this Villa to be a perfect location for an incredible holiday.

Perfect place to stay
We recently stayed at the Carib House for 10 days as part of our visit for Antigua Race Week,
The accommodation was super and the facilities were excellent for a group that needed flexible bedding configurations, room for entertaining, super kitchen and a large pool to cool off.
Louise is a super host and made life very easy for us and it was like staying with good friends.
Everything was provided and the daily cleaning service was much appreciated.
If you are looking for super group style accommodation with a magic view you can't go past the Carib House.
Antigua is sublime, the people, the food, the culture, the heritage and the sailing!

Amazing House in great location
Enough room for 3 generations. Fantastic pool for swimming and sun bathing. 4 minutes walk to the beach. Pool table/ table tennis. Close to English Harbour. Very friendly owner.

The Carib House is located in a quiet neighbour hood where most of the properties are owner occupied. The 2 acre gardens provide you with plenty of privacy, with walks out to Turtle Bay (foot of gardens), the end of Proctors point or a hike to world famous Rendezvous beach just on your doorstep. Spring Hill Riding Stables are just around the corner. 5-10 minutes drive to English and Falmouth Harbours means that the action of bars, restaurants and nightclubs are not far away but far enough to enjoy the peace and serenity of Turtle Bay.
Getting around
We highly recommend the use of a vehicle in your travels around the island as there are many to get to that you cant get to by any other means. The rental car companies will deliver to the villa, and I can guide you to the best places when we meet you at the villa, either on the day you arrive, or the next morning when I bring your maid in for her first service
