- Another excellent stay, the Wedgewood hotel staff is top notch everyone goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best it can be. We stayed five nghts this visit traveling to Whistler one day and touring around town the rest of the time. Our suite was always cleaned, coffee and cookies were replaced when needed and turn down service was none every night. This is our go to place to stay when in Vancouver.
@Global-Deep-DiverReviewed October 2024 - We booked the Wedgewood as a bit of a treat at the end of a 2 week holiday travelling from Calgary to Vancouver via the Rockies. The service was impeccable and the staff were delightful from the moment we arrived. The rooms were well appointed, the bed very comfortable and the view from the balcony was great. We were upgraded to a suite which was very exciting, and we loved the jets in the bathtub (where we learned not to put too much bubble bath in if you've got jets otherwise things can get a bit out of control if you're not careful!). We ate in the Bacchus lounge for breakfast and dinner when we were there and the service was similarly excellent and the food delicious.

You are greeted by the personable valets and the lobby/front desk staff that’s mission seems to satisfy your every wish. The hotel is beautifully decorated in rich dark wood that makes you feel as though you are in a grand old luxury hotel in Europe. The lobby piano lounge is a romantic place for a drink or light meal richly decorated with stained glass and a carved limestone fireplace. I will 100% stay here again!

Located in the heart of the downtown area and within easy walking distance of many wonderful restaurants, some very nice shopping and tourist sites, The Wedgewood provided my wife and I with a relaxing and comfortable nightly retreat. Having stayed at some very nice luxury hotels while traveling in Europe and the US --- we highly recommend a stay at the Wedgewood. You'll be thrilled that you did!
